Muslim Fulani Herdsmen Kill 13 Christians
Armed Muslim Fulani herdsmen killed 13 Christians in Plateau state, Nigeria on Wednesday (Jan. 8), the same day four students were kidnapped from a Catholic seminary in Kaduna state.

About 20 herdsmen attacked the predominantly Christian village of Kulben, in Plateau state’s Mangu County, at about 8 p.m., area residents told Morning Star News. The 13 dead were all members of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), as were three people wounded in the assault, they said.

“They were shooting with guns in all directions, forcing the villagers to scamper into surrounding bushes,” area resident Michael Mutding, 40, told Morning Star News in a text message. “Corpses of those killed have been evacuated by soldiers and police to the mortuary of Mangu Cottage Hospital; and all the victims are members of COCIN.” ...

Great point, DF. That is the point of Islam and there is an effort to use that sword to both address the infidel as well better their own position. Meanwhile, I heard during a training course once that people who want to justify bad behavior sometimes use religion as their crutch to somehow say it is OK to do what they are doing. Not saying that Islam is somehow peaceful, but this group has long emphasized many terrible acts against their neighbors.

Are there any missionaries to the Fulani?

One thing that is not complicated is that Muslims Mission Statement--Conquer the World--by sword, if necessary, by any means necessary.
Christians have a Mission Statement--to spread the gospel to all men everywhere, so no one has the excuse--I wasn't told! But that's it. It's not our job to convert anyone to Christianity; we let the Holy Spirit do that work.
Anyone who watches Dr. Michael Yousseff from Atlanta knows that Muslims also have the Corollary to their Mission Statement: that everyone is their enemy, unless they are Muslim (and even then, there are fights over who is a True Muslim, and part of the Middle East mess is due to this).
The govt TV network PBS aired a special about how Wonderful Spain was when Muslims, Jews and Christians lived peacefully together. Really? Were Christians and Jews free to do artwork that depicted a human or animal form, like Michaelangelo's David sculpture?
Didn't they have to pay the 'dhimmi' tax to Muslims for not being Muslims?

We have heard that this is more complicated than a simple Muslim vs Christian issue. The Fulani need grazing land, but villagers want to use some of that land for crops. This is not the appropriate way to work out land use.

It seems the Fulani have a long history of attacking their neighbors. At one point, they were slave raiders who stole individuals and sold them into slavery.l, but that's too politically incorrect for the press to pick up.
