CNN reporter gets ruthlessly mocked after flipping out over Babylon Bee satire
There are two obvious points to make here:

The first is that, if many Americans truly don’t realize a report claiming Democrats are publicly grieving a strike that killed one of the country’s most vicious enemies is a joke, it’s because the Democrats have spent years convincing the country that it’s entirely possible.

(The Bee's headline should have been a giveaway: "Democrats Call For Flags To Be Flown At Half-Mast To Grieve Death Of Soleimani." But Democrats have been so insane for three years now that it almost seems credible -- that's what makes it such excellent satire.)

The second is that O’Sullivan sounds worried that something as obviously humorous as The Babylon Bee Post is rivaling mainstream media outlets in popularity. That says a lot more about the lack of credibility in coverage from The New York Times and CNN than it does about the credulity of the American public. ...

Yes, Brother James, Christ is the image of God. He is also the glory of God (Revelation 21:23). When the Bible says “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God,” it indicates that we have not lived up to the standard of perfection found in God’s Son Jesus Christ. I know I haven’t even come close. I praise God that my salvation and security are in HIM, and not in me.
Praise God indeed for He is the Lamp unto our feet.

Interesting text you chose Bro:

Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Which sounds quite similar to this one...

Isaiah 60:19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

and continuing on with the same topic it says...

Isa. 60:21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

The work of my hands...

Eph 2:10 For we are *his workmanship*, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

I haven't seen a rhubarb tree since I was a young 'un. However, I cam rest assured that I am not contributing to rhubarb deforestation since my phone runs off of burning soybean oil (which supports our Mississippi farmers). It's a green solution to phone power but the only problem is that I always smell like old french fries. But it's worth it for the possums.

Dr. Tim,YIA, and BDF
I came across a tidbit regarding the topic on the image of God and thought I'd share. Seems to me the image of God is The Light of the glorious gospel of Christ. He, being that light, shines on those who are His and per this verse some were\are blinded.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV)
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, *who is the image of God*, should shine unto them.

The term light G5462 is interestingly enough masculine and is from the root word G5461 which means To instruct, inform, teach and One who gives understanding.

I’m very concerned about possum populations anyway, BDF. As you know, possums only nest and lay eggs in rhubarb trees, and these are becoming very scarce. In fact, I haven’t seen one all winter. By the way, don’t blame global warming for the rhubarb tree shortage. RTDs (rhubarb tree derivatives) are an essential component of smartphones, so whole forests are being denuded. Just remember that a possum egg laid down its life so that you and I can communicate on Sermon Audio. The solution, of course, is to do like Amishchristian and only use wood-burning smartphones.

"I’m always glad when I kill a viper before it has a chance to kill me."

I've heard that a single viper can cause a goat stampede. Worse than that, the dietary proclivities of venomous serpents are known to deplete possum populations.

Looks like you are right, BDF and YIA. I thought there was a variation in the meaning of the words, but it apparently isn’t enough to matter. Anyhoo, I’m glad we got the general before he got us, just as I’m always glad when I kill a viper before it has a chance to kill me.

Hey BLB from Florida, I certainly don't consider myself to be an expert international conflict analyst but perhaps I can help you out here. Firstly, we are not officially at war with Iran. We are at a walk-on-eggshells standoff that's been going on for four decades. That being the case, I don't think it was wrong to take out a general if he had violent intentions against Americans. If he did then our president was simply fulfilling his God-given duty to defend this country from the wicked. But then again, this Iranian general probably wouldn't have those violent intentions if America wasn't constantly meddling in Middle Eastern conflicts that are usually none of our business. I hope that provides a bit of clarity.

Whether people like it or not, there are two things that need to be understood about the US and Trump
1.) Not a theocracy. Trump is a secular leader that is beholden to the Constitution to defend Americans.
2.) Solawhatever was a clear and present danger that was taken out to defend Americans.

It is a common misconception that we are all made in the image of God. Adam was made in the image of God. Adam’s firstborn son was made in the image of Adam, and with the exception of Jesus Christ, all men have been made in the image of Adam ever since. Only those who have been born again have been remade in the image of God.
