DOJ: 64% of Federal Arrests in 2018 Were of Non-U.S. Citizens
Approximately 64 percent of the arrests that the federal government made in fiscal 2018 were of non-U.S. citizens, according to a report released today by the Justice Departmentâs Bureau of Justice Statistics.
That represents a dramatic change from just two decades ago, when approximately 63 percent of federal arrests were of citizens and only approximately 37 percent were of non-citizens.
I didn't read the article, but key questions are the immigration status and visa type of those arrested along with the location of the arrests, inside or outside the country? Then there is the breakdown of what these people were arrested for allegedly doing or plotting to do? Another question is what was it about these alleged crimes that made them federal in nature and not state/local so that the feds took the lead and affected the arrest? Dare I ask which federal agency made the arrests?
I'm just reacting to the headline and short summary. Justice on this earth is a fleeting thing and is based on truth and the preceived probability of something being true to the arms of earthly justice. There is another justice, a higher justice. And that Justice is coming, some day, for each of us. Nothing will be hid or in doubt at that trial. Who will advocate for you? Today is the day to turn to Jesus if you have not already. He will be your surety on that day. Otherwise, your self advocacy will lead to eternal separation from the Lord where the Bible says is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
