'Genocide Is Loading' in Nigeria
The Jubilee Campaign has submitted evidence to the International Criminal Court that crimes against Christians in Nigeria constitute genocide.

Besides staggering numbers, such as one statistic from World Watch Monitor that more than 4,000 Christians were killed and almost 200,000 Christian homes destroyed between 2014 and 2016, Jubilee Campaign executive director Ann Buwalda claimed in July that the sprees are systematic and have wealthy donors.

“Now in 2019 alone, Fulani militants have attacked 20 villages. Their target is Christian-majority villages where they kill civilians, burn their homes,” Buwalda said of the Herder ethnic group that has outstripped even Boko Haram in its campaign of bloodshed against Christians. ...

John UK Qrote:
"ChrisGP, reminded me of the IFB YouTube video listing the top ten richest pastors in the world today, which included, amazingly, a couple from Nigeria. Yes, they have prosperity gospel there all right, stealing money in Jesus name. They make a Jesus who is not the Jesus of the Bible."

There are more than just a few prosperity preachers, fleecing their congregants in Nigeria. The get rich quick, prosperity gospel, is huge business in Nigeria, and where did they get their inspiration from? America. These charlatans take 10% of everything for themselves, living very lavishly off of their false promises, and using God Almighty as their get rich quick tool. Woe to them all for using God as a prop in their devilish scheme, and for duping the ignorant into believing they are without faith if they don't fork over all they don't even have.

However, God's clear Word is available to any and all, so when people choose to listen to mere men, while dismissing, or not even bothering to be as a Berean, when the answers are readily available, then my compassion only goes so far. Anyone who gets duped, well, ultimately, it's their own fault for not checking things out with God. They put the desire for riches over truth, it seems.

From what I understand the two ends of Nigeria are very different from each other.
The South is majority “Christian”, but (note the inverted commas), this tragically means every variety of prosperity gospel, false doctrine and all that one can think of, both of local origin and of the imported US / European variety. The local pastor sadly is often nothing more than a Christianised version of the old witch doctor, and rules his church as his own personal empire.

In the North, the churches are struggling little assemblies, living under militant sharia law states, run by fanatical Muslims, and then they always have the threat of guerrilla groups like Boko Haram and vengeful Muslim Fulani herdsmen raping, burning nd killing, with no support whatever, and maybe even collusion from the local and national governments.

There are not only the IFB churches, but also Reformed Baptist’s, some very evangelical Anglicans, and other evangelical churches, but they are preaching a totally different and real gospel from most of those churches in the south.

@Youth in Asia from Asia there are sound Bible believing Churches like ours still preaching the Gospel in this land so bountifully blessed but blighted by scammers and thieving politicians. Yes, it's a fact that there are politically motivated killings going on, but the religious conflict angle is being hyped because our greatest challenge as KJV only Independent Baptists is the false Gospel which is overwhelmingly popular here. You can help. We are few but persevering!

I interact with a few Nigerian young men, some are Muslim, others are nominal Christians. I wanted to cry after talking about spiritual issues with the nominal ones, there's so much spiritual dirt, and they are knee deep in all the false teachings, that I did not know how to help.

""the predominantly Muslim pastoralists are often armed with expensive assault rifles, have even been seen riding in helicopters, and shout explicitly anti-Christian genocidal slurs during their raids,""

Aaahh the religion of peace making their pious works known again.

I don't suppose the rest of the reprobate world will be too worried about this.

The western nations are not bothered about Christian slaughter and will continue to help Nigeria with financial aid.........
I wonder if that's where they get the money for these new guns???

Christian persecution is increasing in the world. The prophetic words and warnings of Matthew Five are coming true.

May God be with the Church in Nigeria. Amen.
