Raid on Dallas Diocese inspires Catholics to close ranks or lose faith: 'Enough is enough'
Catholics across the area wrestled with sadness, disappointment and outright anger after last week's raid on the Dallas diocese, which police say hasn't fully cooperated with a sexual abuse investigation.

The news was devastating to Becky Autrey, a 30-year member of North Dallas' St. Rita Catholic Community who was already struggling with her feelings about the church.

"I think this has lost me for good," she said. "I really don't have that deep faith anymore."

Faith in what the church? - god? - or God???

Sadly the Roman Catholics 'faith' is human conviction dominated by sin; - Just like the Liberalists in other churches. False witness.

Satan uses human fictitious 'faith' to wreck the church witness and destroy Christian effort in the nations.

God referring to this phenomena says...
2Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."

Prov 19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape."

Maybe if yhe clergy stopped raping boys, maybe their congregants would keep their faith.

Sounds simple to me.

Yes bro, the Catholic church has lost its clout, so it has to resort to subterfuge now. Infiltration is a good word for it.
It is very hard to imagine the atrocities of the Roman machine when it did wield power and authority, both spiritual and secular. Terrible days! Thankfully they never could grasp at a believer's soul, nor can they prevent a happy resurrection, no matter what they have done to bodies. And I'm thinking that they really did believe they were "doing God service". Or did they? Well, Jesus said there would be some who would be like that. But it's mighty odd.
Good comment brother! I don't know why they did it, but they murdered millions over the years. Perhaps the below applies.

John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

I agree fully brother! I call it Roman/Protestantism. Of course that simply means that yes, the Roman church has infiltrated the church of the true saints.
And, I have read about the martyrs during the early reformation. Imagine a person being tortured and burned at the stake for simply saying they didn't agree with some form of catholicism. And perhaps looking out at his wife and children who would now be destitute.

Yes indeed, Christopher. Imagine how difficult it must have been for the early Reformers, many of whom would have been entrenched in the Catholic abomination and brainwashed from birth. Even those who were already separate from the 'machine' were not immune to holding some false doctrines; there is quite a long list of such who sought to be separatists, of whom the world was not worthy, and were persecuted for daring to stand against the clergy. After all, they were ONLY laity, weren't they? What did they know?
Thankfully, there are still some of us separatists left to tell the tale and stand up for scripture against the philosophies and power-hungry denominations of men.

"Police say the diocese has hidden records of complaints about priests, including former St. Cecilia pastor Rev. Edmundo Paredes."

I'm glad that many have, and still are, falling away from this false, and diabolical system, but where are they landing, is my concern? This false system dooms them while they remain with them, faithful, and in a state of grace, and it dooms them as they depart; pronouncing them, ananthema. The system, I believe, dooms them in another way now, as the "faithful" become disillusioned, and venture on to Athiesm, Agnosticism, and the metaphysical, etc. They believed the church of Rome was their salvation, so where do they go, and what do they do when everything they knew, and believed in, implodes, so the church dooms them, thrice.

I hope the bulk of them decide to start fresh, praying fervently, and unceasingly, opening their minds, grabbing their bibles, and begin to re-learn everything; slowly reversing all of the hardwired lies.

The "one true church", and its doctrines, traditions, rituals, and magisterium, are wickedness, and it's Popes, Bishops, and Priests, evil incarnate, under the outward guise of holiness, piety, and soft, inviting speech, sprinkled with just the right amount of scripture to complete the illusion.

The spiritually abused, happened to the Seven Day Adventists when their prophets failed to predict Christ's return, happened to the Jehowas Witnesses, The recent blood moon with all the books and hype about it, I'm sure Mormons are feeling like this too. Many of those people never return to any sort of faith again. Read about the holocaust survivors, many of them gave up on God, and one told me "where was God?"
