We are praying for you as you and your church prepare for Hurricane Florence. Although we do not know what path this storm will take, we believe that “He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.” (Psalm 135:7). As Issac Watts wrote, “Clouds arise and tempests blow by order from thy throne." We know God is always good, He is for you, and His plans for us are infinitely wise. Thank God that He is a shelter in time of storm and a very present help in time of trouble. He will hold you fast. As you get ready for what is coming and deal with the damage this storm produces, please be assured of our love and concern for you.
We encourage you, as time allows, to send us specific prayer needs or updates both during or after the storm. Members of our team will pray for you. In the past we have shared testimonies with our SermonAudio broadcasters and listeners about God’s protection as well as stories of churches and believers in deep need after events like this. Pastors have shared how natural disasters bring God's people together and create Gospel opportunities like they have never seen before. We would count it a privilege to rejoice with you and learn how we may bear one another's burdens.
May God’s grace sustain you, His peace uphold you, and His love strengthen you in the days ahead. God is with you and we are praying for you.

WEB? Yahweh? 1 Kings 19:9 KJV 9 ¶ And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? 10 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. 11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: 12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? 1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 Kings 19:9 He came to a cave there, and camped there; and behold, Yahweh’s word came to him, and he said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
10 He said, “I have been very jealous for Yahweh, the God of Armies; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”
11 He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before Yahweh.”
Behold, Yahweh passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before Yahweh; but Yahweh was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake; but Yahweh was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake a fire passed; but Yahweh was not in the fire. After the fire, there was a still small voice. 13 When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle, went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. Behold, a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”---WEB
