Mexican Catholics whip each other to free them of sin
DEVOUT Mexicans took to the streets on Easter Sunday and were whipping each other in a twist on tradition.
Usually the hardcore Catholic faithful parade through the streets flagellating themselves as an act of penitence as sinners and to mark the suffering of Christ.
But some in Mexico appear to have gone a stage further and started whipping one another instead.
