Trump WILL move US embassy to Jerusalem, Palestinian President says
Donald Trump has informed the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas that he intends to make the highly controversial move of switching the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Abbas's spokesman said.
'President Mahmoud Abbas received a telephone call from US President Donald Trump in which he notified the President (Abbas) of his intention to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem,' spokesman Nabil Abu Rdainah said in a statement reported by Reuters.
The pope is wrong about many things, and this is certainly one of them .

Trump's announcement reversed decades of US policy, angering the Arab world and alarming Western allies. But he also said Washington was not laying down a position on "final-status" issues including boundaries of Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem, which the two parties would have to decide in negotiations.
An interesting article that appeared the Jerusalem Post. The Jerusalem post, http://www.jpost.com ,is filled with interesting articles today, which unfortunately if you are using a browser that does not block advertisements is virtually unreadable. You shouldn't have trouble with the above article since it is a URL for the print article.
Yes fellows, these Muslims are always looking for a reason to be enraged.
The leaders of Iran have declared openly and repeatedly that they are all for the destruction of America and our most loyal ally, Israel. Iran, by its own declaration, is America's avowed enemy, and if Obama gave them one red cent he should be hanged by the neck until he is dead for his blatant TREASON.
Abbas has called for three days of rage, and Iran has called for violence as well. While following the story, I learned of Palestine's pay to slay program which uses American foreign aid tax dollars to reward terrorists for murdering Americans. The more violent, the more benefits they and their familys receive, including money and healthcare. An American family just learned of the program after theor son was murdered abroad. A Muslim ran up to him and stabbed him, killing him, and the terrorist was richly rewarded and celebrated. Why are we even still giving foreign aid to some of these terrorist states/nations? How much of our tact dollars did OBama fly over to Iran in hard cash shortly before stepping down, 4b, was it? 6b? Disgusting.

Let me state this plainly and clearly: The Jews in Israel took no oneâs land.
When Mark Twain visited the Holy Land in the 19th century, he was greatly disappointed. He didnât see any people. He referred to it as a vast wasteland. The land we now know as Israel was practically deserted....
hatâs not to say there wasnât always a strong Jewish presence in the land â particularly in and around Jerusalem. In 1854, according to a report in the New York Tribune, Jews constituted two-thirds of the population of that holy city. The source for that statistic? A journalist on assignment in the Middle East that year for the Tribune. His name was Karl Marx. Yes, that Karl Marx.

The millionaire buys the yacht.
The people who benefit are the builders, the people who produce the material from which it is made, the insurance salesman, the owner of the marina for docking fees, the yacht salesman, the people who repair and do upkeep on the boat, etc.
They take money they earn and buy groceries, eat out, buy cars, buy internet, tv services, etc. and the money they spend helps those in the related industries to have money to buy goods and services.
If the wealthy aren't spending their money, the people that suffer are the ones who are in the middle class and poor who no longer benefit from money they obtain due to the rich people's expenditures.
Even liberal economists note that because as they put it (see Huffington Post) the rich were "hoarding" their money, the rest of the economy (those further down the wealth chain) were suffering.
It is called supply side, and yes, it does have a trickle down effect. Even those who are against it have to admit to that.
President Clinton passed the law in 1995 for the embassy to be moved to Jerusalem by 1999, and then a waiver could be given by the President every 6 months. So, since 1999, and even once in the current term, the 3 Presidents have signed the waiver. So this move is not controversial, but long expected and even required by US law.

As you probably gathered, UPS, that in this Forbes article the author spent almost all of his words on what's wrong with this characterization. However he didn't look at Germany which I don't believe has a small government or the Scandinavian countries either.

It was a response to your trickle down economics comment and building a yacht. I showed how that created many jobs down the line for those who didn't have the millions necessary for a luxury yacht. But couldn't get it past the SA algorithms even though tech support said it was okay to post.

Herb Kennon wrote: In business, they say, itâs all about the leverage.
This is something worth keeping in mind when considering what US President Donald Trump â who at his very core is a businessman â will do on the Jerusalem issue.
Because if, as some are speculating, he will âsplit the differenceâ on the issue â meaning that he will not move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem but will issue a statement in the coming days recognizing at least part of Jerusalem as Israelâs capital â then this would give him leverage going forward with his peace plan with both the Palestinians and the Israelis.
If the Palestinians prove inflexible in negotiations, he could hang over their head the prospect of not only issuing a declaration of recognition of Jerusalem as Israelâs capital, but also actually moving the embassy. By the same token, he could threaten Israel â if he thought it was the recalcitrant party in negotiations â with not moving the embassy....
