Several years ago I asked somebody to bend a hinge back into place that had become bent on a kitchen cabinet door. My friend took it home and put it in a vise and worked on it for awhile and repaired it for me. It took a lot of pressure and time. Our hearts, because of sin, are bent in a certain direction. But God wants us to bend our hearts toward wisdom! Proverbs 2:2 calls us to “incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding.” Both speak of obedient attentiveness. We might say that God wants us to bend our ears and our heart to His truth. Of course, when Proverbs speaks of the heart, it refers to our very being—our intellect, reason, emotions, and will. So to seek wisdom we must stretch our entire being toward God and His Word and bend it away from the godless worldviews of our day.
We are thankful for many of our broadcasters and listeners who share feedback with us as to how God is using this site to reach those inclining their hearts toward wisdom. Here are a few comments we received recently.
SermonAudio is proud to be a partner with FAME as we co-produce a weekly 'audio journal podcast' called Five Minutes of FAME taken from a first-person perspective.
But first, some other encouragements!
WE JUST CAME THROUGH the Foundations Conference in NYC the last two days and we are both exhausted and exhilarated! We hope you had a chance to tune in to some of the services and enjoy the special time that it was! All sessions will be uploaded forthwith!
Encouraging broadcaster feedback..
Below is some of the feedback from broadcasters we've received just this past week. We encourage you to contact them and tell them that you saw them here!
Dr. Stephen Pollock, Free Presbyterian Church of Malvern www.sermonaudio.com/malvern"We value SermonAudio very much as part of our church ministry. It is a blessing to our own people. Your mobile app and the hotline that you recently established for technical issues have been nice additions to your service. We are so grateful for your faithful work. You offer a tremendous service to churches."
Rev. Hans Overduin, Free Reformed Church of Calgary www.sermonaudio.com/calgaryfrc"SermonAudio is a great blessing to us! We love it. We are so used to having it and our members appreciate what it offers them. We see it as a great means of ministry. Thank you for what you are doing."
Rev. David Kranendonk, Free Reformed Church of Oxford County www.sermonaudio.com/frcofoxfordcounty"We are so very thankful for this service. It works very well for us. It gives our people the opportunity to listen during the worship services if they cannot attend in person. They also can listen to a message after it has been preached. We are thankful for all you do. May God continue to be with you as you serve us."
We would encourage you to read through more testimonials we've received over the years from both listeners and broadcasters alike.
