Paul Washer, HeartCry Missionary Society Founder, Suffers Heart Attack Read

Supporters of Paul Washer, 55, founder, director and missions coordinator of HeartCry Missionary Society, are now asking for prayers after he suffered a heart attack Monday night and was forced to undergo emergency surgery.

"Last night, Bro. Paul suffered a heart attack. He is in critical condition, though currently stable. More updates to follow here and on his Twitter account. Please pray for him and for his family!" a message on his Facebook page said Tuesday morning.

The life-threatening emergency was first highlighted by Jhonattan Madueño about 11 p.m. EST on Monday night.

Not wishing to undermine your feelings, Paul, or embarrass any expressing sympathy and good wishes here for the brother.
However, it is a fact that the periods and commas with which God punctuates our lives fulfill his perfect will for every stage of the individual's existence, as much as the long stretches of 'green lights'
'Surprises' are blessed Providences in disguise.
So may the Lord fulfill his good will for Mr. Washer, his family and ministry.

Sometimes we have to take the rebuke Peter took in Jh 13, "What I do you know not now; but you shalt know hereafter" or in Acts 1:
"It is not for you to know the times or the seasons ..."

God gifts his church with men with an specific 'task'/seasonal message, usually not totally inclusive, yet too often we tend to make them *our own*, or as the all sufficient remedy to ongoing ills

Sometimes he might have a Joshua complementing a Moses, or an Elisha, following an Elijah; yet other times God 'invests' in incomprehensible 'rests' or 'absurd vacations'. Worse to our understanding he might take Enochs out of the picture, as Spurgeon or Luther who did not live to old age

Trusting God in all and for all is the key.

“Let's not stop with prayers.”
I just checked the Facebook page and there’s another update:
“Update: Lots of good news from the tests, scans, and x-rays from yesterday. Everything looks good! Paul is looking forward to being home in a few days.”
They also posted a quote from him:
“If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t go to the third heaven. There won’t be any books.”
Praising the Lord for this excellent news on his recovery!!

"Satan never kicks a dead horse" said C.Spurgeon, and Brother Paul Washer was indeed a great threat to the ruler of this world. Many of us in Malaysia have benefited from his teaching. We pray for his speedy recovery and return to His anointed ministry of convicting men through the power of his preaching.

I'm sure Mr. Washer would want the outcome that would bring the most glory to God, His Son and the Holy Spirit. This is what we all should be praying for every circumstance. I pray for his family and friends to be comforted. I do hope Mr. Washer's earthly ministry is not at an end, for I have found much comfort, conviction and education in his sermons.

I do earnestly desire healing for Paul.
Isaiah 57:1/2. Nkjv.
The righteous perishes, And no man takes it to heart;
Merciful men are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous is taken away from evil.
He shall enter into peace; they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Please Lord, if it be your Will keep brother washer safe and alive, the passion that he displays for you, is to us men, admirable and needed today.
Through Y'shua our Lord and saviour I humbly pray,
Amen.

Paul Washer represents the kind of bold preaching we need in our day. May our Lord heal him and may we all pray for the boldness to stand and spread truth in this wicked world.
