The gay and lesbian activist group, Soulforce, stopped uninvited at Bob Jones University Wednesday, April 4, as part of its 33-stop tour of Christian colleges and universities that maintain a bible-based position on homosexuality. The group’s stated purpose was to convince administrators to change the University’s policies on sexual expression.
BJU had conveyed to Soulforce multiple times prior to their arrival in Greenville that the group would not be given access to the campus or BJU students. When Soulforce said it would visit our campus anyway, BJU set out to achieve the following four objectives while Soulforce was at the perimeter of our campus.
