Our aim each year is to return to this older, more biblical practice of making the Table the center of the spiritual life of the church. We do this not by increasing the frequency of our observance, but the intensity. This has always been the preference of the Reformed Church when choosing between observing the Lord’s Supper more often or with greater care. Careful has gotten the nod, we think rightly, over frequent.
We would like this season of cross-centered, Christ-focused, soul-searching meetings to become a regular feature of our congregational life. More than that, we are praying that it will become a means of reviving our church, and reviving our community.
About Our Visiting Minister
Rev. Dr. Dale (Ralph) Davis comes to us from Simpsonville, SC, though he was raised in western Pennsylvania. He attended Sterling College in Kansas after which he married Barbara, his wife of 54 years. They have three married sons and five grandchildren. Ralph studied at four different seminaries and he and Barbara have lived in 10 states where he held four pastorates. He also taught at Belhaven College (now University) and Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Most recently, Ralph served as Minister-in-Residence at First Presbyterian Church (ARP) in Columbia, SC.

Congregational Worship During COVID-19
As a reminder of we urge that each person use good judgment in connection with his own health and that of his family. We recommend extra caution for those who are classified as at-risk, and perhaps waiting a bit longer before returning to services. Those who have been exposed to the virus should remain sheltered in place. Those who wish to minimize the risks are encouraged to continue to worship with us online.
However, the following safeguards will be in place:
- Seating in every other pew (providing 6 ft. 9 in. between pews)
- Wiping down pews after each service
- Alternating pews for each service
- Stationary collection plates
- Tape on the floor and sidewalks indicating 6 ft. of social distance
- Orderly entering and exiting of the buildings
- Hymnals and pew Bibles removed
- Complete bulletins provided
