Show me in scripture where ANYONE ever celebrated the birth of Jesus, after it was told. Was it commanded? Did the disciples? Paul? The church at Corinth?
No, you won't find it...
Luke 2:13, 14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward menLuke 2:20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
2 Cor 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift
you don't celebrate the gift of the Savior into this world??? No birth means no sinless life, no miracles, no disciples, no passion, no death on the cross, no glorious resurrection, no payment for your sins. You don't find His leaving the glories of heaven to become a humble servant and die for your sins worth celebration and rejoicing? You need a command to do this? You might be a stranger to His grace my friend.
1Peter 1:8,9 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls
