I see...so I'm an 'antinomian' because why? What is the Gospel Frank, do you know? How many here are trusting in their 'works' or their 'righteousness' to help save them? Has any here ever given the Gospel to Jim, or prayed for him? Telling others that you prayed as the tax collector is a sign of 'humility'? oh boy.... 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Ro. 11 Have NO desire to 'learn' from anyone here... no thanks:V) |

so, wasting time attacking Jim Lincoln is justifiable in your book? IF you already know his agenda, why bother? Can you change his mind? Doesn't the gang at SA already know his agenda? So, you aren't exposing anything new are you? Seems the desire to argue with others is held in high esteem here. There's always somebody attacking somebody else here, all 'justifiable' of course...wink wink. What is a legalist? One who adheres to a set of standards to abide by, one who exalts themselves and their brand of 'religion' over others. Legalism on this forum isn't confined to 'sc'. Most here convince themselves they are 'heavenbound', yet, the gospel held to is not one of sovereign grace. Works based conditional salvation is rampant both on this forum and all over the internet. Most are not resting in Christ and His finished work for the sheep. This quote is anonymous and so true, "you can quote bible verses with ease, articulate reformed theology {or Arminian theology} with razor precision, own 5,000 books and a dozen bibles...and STILL be dead in your sins without Christ". You will know them by their 'fruit', that ain't talkin' 'bout any 'works'. That means the doctrine they adhere to. Legalistic fruit produces works/conditions, as does every other 'bad tree' form of religion... |
