More than 370 religious leaders from around the world are calling for a ban on conversion therapy.
The signatories to the declaration represent all the world's major faiths and many are known LGBT advocates.
They include South African cleric Archbishop Desmond Tutu and former Chief Rabbi of Ireland David Rosen.Other religious figures said a ban could risk criminalising pastors. A declaration calling for a ban will be launched at a conference sponsored by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) on Wednesday. The Anglican Bishop of Liverpool, Paul Bayes, and Mary McAleese, the former president of Ireland, are also among those who have signed the declaration. |

All of this is not reported on your local news programs. Did you see the movie, 'The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Anchorman" ? It gives a Perfect Depiction of what Local TV news is all about---images, that's all.
Remember this whenever you talk with someone after church about these Current Events; most are illiterate in these matters. Also, you can check out your local library to see if they have the book, THe Myth of the Rational Voter.
as to this election, the hidden suitcases in Georgia, the many under-age voters in Georgia, the counties in Wisconsin that had more votes counted than registered voters, all make you wonder. Then, when you saw President Trump showing up at packed rallies, while Biden stayed in his basement, you wonder....have we arrived at the point where any person can be elected if they have the favor of mainstream media and social media? Remember Twitter censored the Biden Laptop News item from the New York Post; many said later they would not have voted for B if they had seen it. |

Yes, Tim has said it well, no doubt about it.
I have been wondering...how can so many votes go for a guy who didn't do much campaigning, while his opponent was out there constantly, and many rallies and caravans were held to support him.
Then, going back to the primaries, neither Biden or Que-Mala Harris won many, and the SC one that Biden one was based on his lying about what college he went to (not Delaware State, a historically black college, but Delaware Univ) and the media did not point that out.
It's almost like saying the Dem Party is not a party but a machine that just chose these 2 guys to put into place.
Georgia's elections Jan 5 will decide the US Senate, who we hope will put a stop to all this foolishness. |
