I think you can never assume everyone who sits in the same church with you agrees with everything that is said or sung there.
Many are there because their wife or husband makes them, or their family all goes, or some other reason (life insurance seeking contacts, lawyers looking for clients, car salesmen, etc).
So..on a positive note...it means there is a lot of Missions Field sitting in your own church! No need to send a missionary.
Maybe it's better to assume that most people around you are not believers.

Amen to that 'no name'
For some people, their only life is to get online and engage with others esp. in these days of govt-imposed shutdowns and restrictions.
I found a book by Napoleon Hill, Success Habits, from talks he gave in Paris, Missouri in the 1950s, and he says that these are days of fear. Anyone remember their church basements with those signs of a triangle inside a circle? The Cuban missile crisis? in South Florida, many areas had Nike missiles installed.

Of course, believers could go back to meeting in the catacombs!
Let's put that 20 percent number in perspective: 1. how many churches closed in 2017, 2018 and 2019 without any govt shutdowns for this Wuhan Virus?
2. Compare those numbers to the 20 percent he says now to see how much we might attribute them to the virus.
Major question: what does 'church' mean to believers today? Singles looking for a mate? Parents wanting their kids to go to Sunday School to learn some morality (which they can't teach them at home?) Can either of these things be done with an online church?
Psychologists are just now starting to understand the impact of the govt-imposed shutdown on people's mental health. Already we have seen news items about spousal and children abuse numbers are up during the shutdown. Suicides are a difficult number to trace since many death reports cover them up and the media does not like to report them because...well...it is contagious..for people on the edge, if they read that person A or B jumped off Bridge X over Hwy 123, they might drive by to see how hard it is to do, how busy traffic is (as if that matters, right?).

I thought this was about some new comic book movement. But now I think it has something to do with the New World Order (see your dollar bill, full of esoteric symbols like that incomplete pyramid, eyeball, and the words "Novo Ordo Seclorum")and the Trilateral Commission.

This case, along with the NRA corruption and the Wounded Warriors case, make you wonder whether you are wasting $$ by giving it to any group or organization, despite what certifications they may hold.
Like that verse, because of the wickedness of some, the love of many has grown cold.

Many problems here: 1. why does the son of the founder get the top job? Would you want Hunter Biden on your oil & gas company board if your company was doing business in Ukraine, if his father was not a US Senator or VP?
2. I saw him being interviewed last year or before about some issue and he seemed...creepy to me, and definitely not giving the impression of a College President like Mr. Larry Arn does at Hillsdale College.
3. Just because a college (or church?) calls itself Christian does not mean 100 percent of all the people who work there are somehow Perfect Saints.
Yes, Paul in letter to Corinthians does criticize them for allowing a man to have relations with his father's wife (but not his mother), so even 'back in the day' there were bad things going on. And he also cited them for going to court among believers, when he said the church should settle the issue.
4. Attention Parents/Grandparents SAving for College--do you want your kids to go to LIberty after hearing of this news? Maybe Hillsdale is looking a lot better.

I wonder how this works in USA? Doesn't the Planned Parenthood group abort many more black babies? Wasn't the PP founder a Margaret Sanger, who believed in eugenics (same as the National Socialists in Germany) which said that blacks, Chinese, Indians, Hispanics are inferior?

You mean it was 130 there before the Chevrolet Suburban or any other SUV were created? Well, there were the famous 'Woody's' that were kinda like an early SUV.
And what about 200 yrs ago or 300 yrs ago? Was anyone measuring temperatures with the same accurate instruments we use today?
It's like Flood Insurance Maps. They are based on 25-yr storms, or 100-yr storms when the track of measuring is less than 100 yrs for many areas. How can you determine how bad an area flooded for once in 100 yrs when you haven't been there 100yrs? You could accurately tell 10 or 25 yr flood maps, but then, the land has changed in those years, so the way the land drains has changed. How can you determine how much flooding that will cause? Every new parking lot, every new driveway or garage built, even every patio or pool affects how much water goes into the ground. Take a block of houses with an unpaved alley and no garages in back, change that to paving the alley and adding garages to half the houses, well, then you have more runoff and flooding.

In Florida, Catholic churches have been having their services for months; they were able to open up before Protestant churches.
How about your church?
Did it shut down?
Has it opened up again?

God is happy whenever man worships him, no matter where it is, no matter what clothes he has on. Maybe Americans have perpetuated the idea that you have to wear your Sunday Best and go to a place with seats aligned in rows, all facing towards one direction where one guy is selected to speak.
Jesus, when talking with the Woman at the Well, said that one day we will worship God in Spirit and in Truth. What did he mean by that?
Also, can you name all the cases where Jesus healed someone in a synagogue versus all the times he healed people when he was teaching in a house, or walking on the street in a crowd ('Touch the Hem of His Garment' song come to mind?).
Also remember that the apostles walked in towns they were sent to, and whoever touched the hem of their garments were also healed.

Headline could read, "President Trump Announces New Cure for Heart Disease" and liberals would bury the news, then put it in quote marks.
By the way, are you having early elections today in your area? HOw is the turnout?
