So Christ was a partial drunkard ? I caution you to think carefully your answer. Do not send a hasty reply. Think before you answer. If you reply that the wine Christ made at wedding and the wine he drank at the Last Supper was fermented, then you are accusing him of sin. If you claim it was unfermented you donâ€™t understand Greek or Hebrew definitions. Or pasteurization.

I went to two AA meetings and never went back. I was told that I would die an alcoholic. There was no physical cure, all I could rely on was their two meetings a week. As a new found child of Christ I knew better. I asked him to fix me and he did. I rarely drink alcohol but I now understand moderation. I must legally be able at any moment to operate a motor vehicle. This leaves little room for abuse. These arguments are traditions of men. Search the scriptures and the meaning (definitions) of the words. Wine means fermented and strong drink means hard liquors. Start with the scriptures Matt posted. That should end all this argument.

Thank you Matt. I was an alcoholic. There is any kind of alcohol in my house you want. I walk by it every day and seldom even notice it. Collects dust. Ocassionally have a cold beer on hot days. Anyone who denies Christ made fermented wine is either suppressing truth ( lying ) or willfully interpreting scripture to fit traditions of works based salvation. Strongs Concordance is all denominations go to for Greek and Hebrew word meanings. Use it. I live in Alabama where the works based mantra is â€œalcohol has never passed my lips.â€ They will die believing this earns them points toward heaven. No amount of scripture will convince them.

Not been able to join in this because I've been WORKING and too tired. Pay real close attention to this Jim. You can not hitch your wagon and pull the democrat parties wagon and be a born again Christian. A fresh spring doesn't put out salty water. You may have convinced yourself otherwise but your deceived. Sit down and write Almighty God a speech to present him on judgement day. Explain your cheerleading for this reprobate mind set. I'm apolitical in that I'm just passing thru here. I believe in the absolute sovereignty of God. He commands me to rebuke and exhort, call out and expose darkness. Jim you need to repent.

I see it everyday. I call them the "lprofessional poor". Nothing wrong with them. Easily able to work. But why work when you are housed, fed and cared for. Supplement your hand outs by WORKING for cash and/or criminal activity. A hand out = random drug test. Like Paul said; No work-no food. Sick of tattoos, drug use, confrontational attitudes, and lounging around on the tax dime. Hunger is a great motivator. It's a work the system scheme and they are professionals.

My grandmothers adulthood began at 15 when her parents died leaving her to raise 3 siblings on the farm. Raising them off she then married and raised six hard working sons that were part of the greatest generation. And my dad made me work (hard). Best education you can get.

Been shocked lately to find how many kids regularly watch Harry Potter movies. Some in my Sunday School class. The Old Testament is full of warnings to have no dealings with witchcraft, sorcerers etc. They think it so strange when I teach them to have nothing to do with this. Parents are blind.
