Strange that money is the only concern. Shouldn't Christians be happy to pay more for ethically produced Bibles that aren't from a country that represses Christianity? I get it with Harper Collins, a huge publisher that is in it for the money, but why do Crossway and LifeWay outsource Bible production to China? Shouldn't they have some scruples, and shouldn't their customers be willing to pay more for an ethically sourced product? For years I've been perplexed by how Christians have ignored this issue so completely it's not even an issue.
The comforting part is the atheistic, communist country of China has repressed Christianity, and God has used them to flood the world with Bibles. That's great
