First of all, Leviticus would fall under theocracy within the Israelites construct. In the New Covenant the Kingdom of God is to spread, not stay ( Matthew 28; Acts 1 etc...). Within the construct of the United States of America, their kingdom rules are their autonomous declarations... they can permit or not according to this! Now to your use of Leviticus 19. Was Israel to change the worship standards within the God-centered community? No , they were to uphold them and guard them! If holding too Leviticus 19 â strangers to settle among usâ ( JFB quote) did that include the clear indication to follow the precepts of the land, culture, etc? Israelâs multiple sin examples are allowing the foreigners to bring in foreign worship of their foreign deities and â intermingling â them to form an unholy alliance. As an America second, Christian first... I think a proper vetting system works! Youâre vetted every time you board an aircraft. Youâre vetted when you go through the passports process. The foreign soil you enter has the right to vet you and not accept your entrance ( which Iâve witnessed) and to forcibly gain access on my own, will not be met with coffee, biscuits and free medical attention!!! Blessings |
