Not picking a fight, Frank, because I happen to agree with Scripture (and you) on women not teaching men. I'm trying to understand your position farther in regards to sermonaudio. If you argue every gathering together of the saints is church does that mean here is church and us women should not be debating here?

The Quiet Christian, I don't think most christians enter the foster system with full understanding of what it is they are enabling. I do believe their hearts are in the right but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Masks have their place. The point is, is the way they're being used bu the public now doing any good? I would venture to say no. The other thing to consider is is covid really worthy of such mandates? Does the government have the biblical authority to mandate them?

Neil,
Interesting. I'll have to research that. I'll admit history wasn't my fave. topic in school bit I'm falling in love with it now. I think it's purposely made to be boring...an uneducated population is easy to control.

Why, John, aren't you aware that you shouldn't believe everything you see on TV?
As for Wild West days, well the UK has some dirt in their past we can bring up too. Tis the way the world rotates.

Jim, masks didn't work in 1918 and they're nott going to work today. Here's why: people don't change; nothing new inder the sun. Should we shoot folks that refuse to comply like what happened to the man in Chicagon in 1918?

MS, as it should be. Take care. P.S. I do read with the Bible in hand and am not afraid to disagree with a dead old man nor a live one for that matter

Ladybug, thank the Lord salvation belongs to Him and is ALL of grace.

No one says you have to read what you don't desire to. My conscience is clean with reading men of old.

Ladybug, of course there are errors. They're imperfect people. No one claims otherwise. You're full of errors too. Shan't read your comments as well? Or can I chew on the meat and spit out the bones?

MS, not really. It's following your philosophy to the end. Bible only means just that. No sermons, no comments of fellow believers, etc after all we're not the bible, just imperfect people (saved by a perfect God. Praise the Lord for that because some can get burdensome with their arm chair theology).

Dave, prayers for your family.

A man who doesn't read is no better than the man who can't read. If you'd prefer not to read words of men than please don't listen to sermons either. They're words of men in audio form. In fact, you probably shouldn't read our comments and we, held to the same standards, shouldn't read yours.

I beleive his point is that circumstances can be the method God uses to humble man and draw him to the cross. We shouldn't dismiss it outright. Are circumstances salvation, no. Nor is that what is being argued. The point is, God can use whatever He wants to draw whoever He wants to the cross.

So we're back to grade school with calling names in order to get people to comply??? Well, two can play at that game..I'm rubber and you're glue. Anything you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

And the Lord commands us to love our neighbor as ourself. It's hateful to demand a person (who may not desire so) to remain isolated for "their own good." The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Mike,

Testing positive means nothing. For one thing, they admit that positive results does not mean you have Covid19 but instead the test could be picking up antibodies from another coronovirus. Then there's the fact that false positives are real.

Wayfarer, it is very much poasible. We appear to be a in a Tower of Babel stage. What can man not accomplish with his lab coats and chemicals? What is the need of God when we can do it ourselves? At some point, He has to humble us. We can't go on like this forever.

Homeschooling on the rise is combating this. Hopefully parents stick with it for the rest of their kiddo's school year.

Pretty sure that science is racist, Mike. Lol.

But that's an interesring perspective. It would be something to see it used in an argument.
