But the fearful, and unbeleving,and the abominable, and mutderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolators, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8) AV.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) AV.
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he felt asleep. (Act. 7:59, 60) AV.
(Paraphrase: let us pray for God's mercy to them). |

there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the LORD that bought them, and bring upon themselvwes swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through coveteousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you; whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eight person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorha into ashes, condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; and delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked. (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from the day with their unlawful deeds). The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.

"... every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned". " (Matthew 12:36, 37) AV.

And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have one language, and this they begin to do, and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagine to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound they language, that they may not undertand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth, and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel, because the LORD did there confounded the language of all the earth, and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteh the ordinance of God; and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power?. do that which is good, and thou shall have praise of the same. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain, for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Whereforeye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also, for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) AV. |

So the last shall be first, and the first last, for many be called, but few chosen.

Traitors, heady high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.Having a form of godliness, but denying the powers thereof, from such turn away.For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 3:1-8) AV. |

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
(James 3:1) AV.
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own souls.
