I certainly agree with the brother who very clearly pointed out the inappropriateness and wickedness concerning a 9 year old boy, “coming out” as “gay”, and being paraded on a public platform by a homosexual political candidate at one of his campaign rallies.

Children of this age are not even yet entering puberty, certainly not boys, and should indeed be concentrating on toys, sports, play activities, school activities, climbing of trees, exploring the house and garden, and doing simple chores and activities with their parents and siblings; sex and sexual activities should be nowhere at this age. I would even be alarmed if they were considering heterosexual activities, how much more the perversities of same sex relations.

As for the mindless chanting of the crowd “Love is love”, this is typical of a religious cult, and shows the wickedness of those adults who exploit this for their own nefarious purposes. Besides this boy presumably has a father and a mother!! Where are they? They are highly culpable. We must pray for this boy and others like him who are being polluted and corrupted at an early age. May the Lord indeed rescue them and save them.

Since writing my last comment, I have remembered 2 spiritual aspects which may explain why this peaceful country has gone in such a secular and anti-Christian direction. The cantonal Reformed Protestant churches went liberal a long time ago, and it was in this climate that Geneva, the former home of John Calvin’s Reformed Protestant Reformation, where the UN placed its European HQ, (though neutral Switzerland is not actually a member), but more importantly, the ultra-liberal leftist ecumenical World Council of Churches placed its world HQ there.

However, much more recently, the brand new Gotthard Rail Tunnel opened a few years ago. I have travelled through the old tunnel which links France and Germany through Switzerland, with Italy, and has no controversy.

This new tunnel, much longer, more high speed, was opened with much fanfare and with world leaders present. The ceremony was very strange and can only be described as quite satanic and very weird. It was highly new age and pagan, and I believe you can still see YouTube videos of this strange ceremony. It shows how badly things have gone.

Yes, the citizen Militia type Army is very well known. There is a tiny number of professional soldiers, I believe, but most of the Swiss Army is made up of these citizen militia type members, who must keep their rifle at home!! Switzerland being a neutral country, the Army is purely for internal defence purposes, and is therefore there is no foreign service as far as I am aware. There is also a tiny Air Force too, and some Customs boats on the one or two lakes that form frontiers with other countries.

As to immigration, I think Switzerland is very strict, and potential immigrants have to have money and jobs I think, there may be limits on them owning property etc., and though there are foreign communities in the big cities, they tend to be wealthy people. Some temporary semi-skilled Labour is imported , but generally, as far as I am aware, under strict conditions. It is also, I believe, very difficult for a foreigner to naturalise and become a citizen of Switzerland.

Switzerland is a very interesting, delightful, beautiful and unusual country, which I visited on a number of occasions, during the year and a half I worked in Northern Italy.

It has 4 languages in different areas, German for the major part, French as the 2nd largest, Italian in one and a half cantons, and Romansch, a Latin based local language in corners of just one canton.

It has moderately large cities, Zurich, Geneva, Basel/Basle, Berne, Luzern, a number of very small cities, towns, picturesque villages and whole country areas, as well as the mountains and lakes.

Religiously, half of Switzerland embraced the Reformed branch of the Protestant Reformation, while the rest stayed with Roman Catholicism.

Governmentally, Switzerland is a truly federal state, even more so than the United States, with the cantons, being very autonomous from the federal government.

Tragically, however, while the Catholic part, mainly rural seems to have remained fairly conservative, the Protestant part has become exceedingly liberal, and lost its moorings completely. This is very sad indeed. Maybe there needs to be another referendum specifically about religious freedom. I’m not sure how that would go!!!

I have great sympathies with Gay M Allen in Wisconsin, and actually believe in the death penalty for murder, child rape, and other such egregious offences.

Unfortunately, the whole of Europe, and many other countries in the Western World abandoned their death penalty, many years ago.

However, at the very least, prison sentences for the above crime should really be for full life, or failing that a very long time with no remission for good behaviour, and in the case of any release, extremely rigorous and strict conditions and restrictions in force in their fividual concerned.

One does get very tired of liberal judges, politicians and even religious ministers, who come out with platitudes, and allow these individuals unfettered access to children and vulnerable adults.

Many of these characters tragically are very devious and cunning people and know every trick in the book!! May the Lord give us great wisdom in these matters, and protection for individuals and churches.

We, and I also speak to myself here, must not forgot to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters in North Korea, as well as in other places, where there is persecution of the Christian church.

China itself is a very difficult place, but it has the only readily accessible land frontier with North Korea, the only other one between North and South Korea being effectively sealed off.

North Korean Christians and others who escape into China face terrible deprivations, being kidnapped and forced into illegal labour, both in the sex trade, or in other professions, or sold off as a wife to a Chinese man, and they have no recourse to any complaint or health or other services, as the Communist Chinese will just seize them and hand them over at the North Korean border to the horrific vengeance of the North Korean authorities. The only other solution is a dangerous trek to Mongolia, or an even longer trek, through to Vietnam, and then Thailand, where they can go to the South Korean Embassy for automatic asylum and citizenship and a flight there.

As for the individual concerned, though he can repent, and be forgiven by God, he must accept that in this life are consequences for sin, and he should go quietly into the background, and accept the limitations that will be placed upon him for the rest of his life, and the automatic disqualification for pastorate or church leadership that are Biblical requirements. It does mean that churches he attends regularly may have to be made aware of his record. Protection of children and vulnerable adults must be paramount.

It would have been a lot more difficult, though not completely impossible, for this to have happened in this manner in Britain.

Anyone doing any kind of sensitive job in Britain, which may mean access to children or vulnerable adults at any level, and thus would include pastors, etc., must, by law, undergo a full enhanced DBS check, before they can be taken on. This checks not only whether they have a criminal record, but also whether they have a “barring” order, which is basically a legal document which bars anyone convicted of sexual offences, etc., from access to children or vulnerable adults. Offenders of the sexual nature have to sign a sex offenders register, and are subject to numerous restrictions, like not being able to teach children, or be involved with activities which are aimed at children, like camps, etc., and generally not even being able to be in a room alone with children.

It is tragic that there was no such law in this particular state, and that such a background check was not done. Churches sometimes are very naive, The Bible tells us that the enemy goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, and also that he would deceive the elect if it were possible. I pray for the recovery of the work and witness if this church, and its members. As for

As to the Benedict XVI and Francis I situation, I have grave suspicions that a cabal if leftist cardinals, supported by secular globalist authorities, engineered and pressured the resignation of Benedict XVI who was not willing to go along with their agenda, and secured the election of their favoured candidate, Francis I, who is globalist, socialist, interfaith, environmentalist and very liberal to the core.

I believe that he is a false prophet, definitely, but laying the ground for one of his successors, who will be a “miracle worker”, perhaps out of the Catholic Charismatic Movement, to be the False Prophet, who supports the Antichrist in the Great Tribukatjon.

To return to the two Popes, I have 2 points to make. There were often times in papal history when there were rival Popes, much to the scandal of the church. One time, I believe was during the infamous papacies in the late 800’s and in the 900’s AD, when a mother, daughter (who were mistresses of some of the Popes), and son of an infamous Roman family created a series of short lived and highly immoral Popes, and in the later Middle Ages, after about 100 years and about 7 Popes in the pocket of the King of Francewho reigned in Avignon in France rather than Rome, there was then a complete divide and 2 Popes, and then at one point, 3 Popes all reigning at the same time, different European countries supporting different Popes, until finally the Council of Constance, the same one that burnt the pre-Reformer Jan Huss, and his friend Jerome of Prague, finally deposed all 3, and elected Pope Martin V to unify the Papacy again.

Even now, there are 2 very, very minor antipopes, who are only known in their immediate circle, one who is in USA, and one who is the leader of a secretive pseudo-Catholic cult in southern Spain near Seville, I think.

As to the Benedict XVI and Francis I situation, I have great suspicions that leftist cardinals supported by leftist secular authorities, had s

The trouble is Wayfarer, if he cannot hire indoor venues, or stadiums, he will soon be banned from city parks as well.

Anything municipally owned will be out, as will privately owned venues of any sort that depend on any state or local government money, but even totally private venues with no public money are joining the pro-LGBTQ etc., bandwagon.

Very recently a famous at present happily and heterosexually married breakfast television presenter, who has children, came out as “gay” on his own programme, (he refused to say if his marriage is going to be terminated), he said he had been this way for a long time despite his seemingly happy marriage.

We have had the scandal in Scotland of the rising No 2 of the Scottish Nationalist Party Government having to suddenly resign from party and office, just a few hours before he was due to read the Scottish Budget speech in the Scottish Parliament, (he had left his marriage some years back for a homosexual relationship), due to revelations of inappropriate texts to a 16 year old boy.

These people are in power, and will not let anything or anybody stand in the way of their lusts,, as in Romans 1!!!

Yes, in these final days before the coming of the Lord, I do indeed suspect that the only thing going on in huge stadiums apart from sports events and pop concerts, will be various other things of an undesirable nature.

There may be the odd false religious rally of a non-Christian religion, possibly; or a pseudo-Christian group, but the days of evangelical Christian crusades are long past.

More and more, it will go to local churches holding small events and evangelistic services, and one-to-one witnessing.

It could well be as persecution begins to appear in the militantly secular West, and as Communistic political systems, and immigrant Islam take over in Western countries that believers will no longer be able to rent even small community halls, hotels and other local venues, and even faithful fundamental evangelical churches that have their own buildings will come under threat.

As to the personal attack on the character of Franklin Graham by certain people, this will become more typical as any one who dared to stand against the moral revolution will be increasingly vilified, and we see more and more the militancy of the LGBTQ crowd and their hatred for the Gospel.

Yes, Mr Lincoln, the message of the Gospel is indeed repulsive to the LGBTQ crowd, and now they have power and can flex their muscles to shut it out of the public arena.

While the wishy washy archbishops, bishops, priests, pastors, ministers and clergy of the various liberal Catholic and Protestant mainline denominations are spouting their rubbish from pulpits in “inclusive” and “diverse” accepting but really very empty churches to a handful of mainly elderly ladies, and a few of these LGBTQ people, and hip modern seeker sensitive so called evangelicals are totally silent in the face of this onslaught, the LGBTQ crowd are laughing all the way to the bank, and they and their political allies are cooking up new ways to persecute and ban freedom for Christian preaching, worship and witness, should we be helping and encouraging them, and pouring scorn on those, who however imperfectly, are seeking to preach the real message of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord will have them in derision, Psalm 2 v 4. Let us not be found on the wrong side!!

Dear Mr Lincoln, stop crowing about the possible complete cancellation of Franklin Graham’s UK tour. It may well happen that way, but I guess you would still have preferred Hilary Clinton to be your President, or failing that, one of the extremely dodgy Democrat candidates for 2020.

As for us here in Britain, had it not been for a miracle, we could have ended up with a hung Parliament with Comrade Corbyn as PM, supported by his left wing Labour MPs, the Liberal Democrat’s, and the Scottish Nationalists, and we would still be very much in the EU, with no doubt a rigged referendum to keep us in.

Daily, I see more and more signs that the Western nations, like USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Britain and most of Europe are falling to the captivity of the LGBT+ crowd, the “Climate Change” environmentalist cult, (with such folks as the secular “Saint” Greta Thunberg, and our very own British Extinction Rebellion, amongst others), the Abortion / Euthanasia religion, (better known in the Old Testament as the devotees of Baal, Ashtarte, Chemish, Molech, etc., interfaith and of course Islam.

Perhaps, Mr Lincoln, you would prefer this. It is not just a well known evangelist like Franklin Graham, who will get cancelled, but any pastor who dares to oppose the above agendas!!

Tragically, a school does not necessary need State money to compromise on the safety of children.

Here in Britain, not far from where I live, is a very reputable independent day school, a secondary school (11 - 18), not as far as I know, in receipt of any state funds, though like all independent schools, it is still liable for inspections from the infamous government OFSTED inspection authority.

I was shocked to see on its flag pole recently a two part flag, fluttering proudly, the lower half of which was the truncated rainbow 6 colour, (not the biblical 7), of the “Gay Pride” flag, and the top half, I think was the special colours of the Transgender / Non-binary Movement. I looked up its website, and discovered it does have a student run (from 13 - 14 yrs old), LGBT+ Society.

Though it has a notional Christian chaplain, there are 2 nurses in the medical centre and a doctor pays weekly visits, (this is not a boarding school), so one can only speculate as to what might be prescribed to children, possibly without their parents’ knowledge, perhaps? This is a private school with some Christian foundation!!! We must pray for our children!!!

That particular assembly I believe withdrew from SA broadcasts, but no doubt their programmes are still available on their own website.

I am sorry, true evangelical Christians do not have religious ecumenism with Catholics or liberal Protestants, (I.e. joint services or religious functions), nor should we, but when it comes to what might be described as a political or social rally against something do evil as abortion, I see no problem with it.

With regard to Catholic presence at such events, the current modernistic globalist environmentalist Pope, Francis, is actually pouring cold water on the whole matter of opposing abortion, and things such as opposition to LGBTQ rights, and he and his liberal cardinals, archbishops, bishops, priests and nuns, as well as many liberal lay bureaucrats, that are employed by the Catholic Church, are actively supporting the very politicians who push these agendas!! It is the tiny handful of Traditionalist “Latin Mass” Tridentine type Catholics, who detest Pope Francis and all he stands for that are at these events.

I heard a fascinating tape about news and events from a Christian point of view, and the commentator was speaking about some aspect of the Church of England. I believe it was referring to a vote on some moral issue at the Church Synod, that kept being deferred, and nobody could make up their mind.

He then summed it like this, by saying, “They (the Anglican Church) are so wishy washy, they are wishy washy in their wishy washiness”!!

I worked for a couple of years in Spain in the late 1980’s. Only 10 years previously, the ultra Catholic dictatorship of General Franco had only just ceased, and the newly restored young king, Juan Carlos II, had handed the state over to a new democracy.

Under General Franco, from his victory in the Spanish Civil War in 1939 until his death in 1975, Evangelicals were persecuted, Protestant Bibles banned and burned, evangelical schools forbidden, (evangelical children had compulsory Catholic RE at school), and evangelical churches had to be located on back streets with no sign board. Evangelical marriages were not recognised, (only Catholic marriages took place in Franco’s time, no civil marriage), and evangelicals were to be buried without ceremony in a section of the graveyard reserved for atheists and criminals.

By the way, John UK and Adriel, I know of very good solid Reformed churches, including the unaccompanied psalms only type, that hold very biblical funeral services, and the gospel is solidly preached at them!!!

These cancellations of 3 of the 8 venues in Britain for Franklin Graham to speak (with no doubt more to come), and the lack of reaction by the churches in the face of the LGBTQ onslaught in our country show a complete “volte face” by our country within the last 40 or so years.

In the 1960’s and 1970’s, Billy Graham, Franklin’s father, was able to hire and pack stadiums, without any controversy (I attended a live Billy Graham rally in Bristol City FC stadium, and a video live link from one of his US crusades), and also watched a BBC Songs of Praise from one of his evangelistic rallies here.

Now, it seems, no one wants his son to come here, the local councils and national government are so in fear of not being PC, and offending either LGBTQ or Islam, that we cannot have an evangelist here.

Even the two archbishops of Canterbury and York, apologised recently, for a traditional statement on Christian marriage, issued by the bishops, because it may have caused hurt or offence to the LGBTQ community, although despite the pressure from liberal bishops, it hasn’t yet been withdrawn!! Such is the state of things in Britain these days!!!

places like Denmark and the Republic of Ireland).

Despite all the opposition, we had a staggering election in December 2019, which could have gone either way, but it was won amazingly by the pro-Brexit Boris Johnson, and more than restored the majority list by Teresa May in the previous disastrous election. This confirmed that Brexit went ahead, and Britain left the EU after 47 years, on 31st January 2020, at 11 pm British time (12 midnight mainland European Time. Incredible, but it happened!!
