Bishop Baker wrote: The enemy really fought against Christianity BUT the Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail... Bishop Baker Thank you for the reminder of: "He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:15-19Which is so in danger of being turned into an empty clique by church going people and pastors who has utterly forgotten: "From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force." Matthew 11:12 Here is an illustration of the kind of non-casual sit back in ease and comfort violence needed that ought to be in our prayers and lives in "taking the gates." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PXrVUaoEEc |

John UK wrote: The Ten Commandments will be known and felt by all on the coming Day of Judgment. They are the benchmark, by which God will judge the world. This is why, when God sets to task to convince men of sin (law-breaking) he brings to their mind the law, so that they can see they are law-breakers. Modern man realises that with no law, there is no guilt. And they do not like to feel guilt. And so they do away with law. This means doing away with both the word of God, and the Word of God. Prayer-meeting today at 11.00am in Pembroke, followed by tracting in the streets. Any support in prayer greatly appreciated. Praying |

John UK wrote: How are you keeping these days? Brother John, thanks for asking. Busy, so much learning and growing to do.Walked away from a church that didn't want to change. Tried a couple in my home town ... didn't work AND Praise God! Was Providentially led to a church with a young, just turned 30 pastor in the real sense of the word, who believes in the great commission, does street evangelism, cares about the people, continues to be a great student of the word of God, mentors/disciples/influences people for their good. One who likes me, allows me to write gospel tracts and put the church's name on them; put me on the church's outreach committee; has been with me to the local abortion clinic (he is a personal friend of Jon Speed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxDyfSHEq5g ) encourages us in a Jeff Durbin approach to Apologetics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMXTlIAN5Q0 who of course is thoroughly opposed to abortion, seeing it as a Gospel issue Married off 23 year old daughter this spring, ouch weddings are expensive A member at church got me going into our local jail for Bible Study about 3 times a month Leading a small group on making disciples Praying for lost family Working on getting healthy and other issues |

Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6Y5zhHvKH8 I hope you all understand it is so easy to say, 'Lord, Lord' and give verbal acknowledgment abortion is so wrong To seek God for the right thing to do and then go and honor Jesus with your obedience is: NOT Easy AND It is NOT safe and comfortable |

Jesus expressed a different attitude towards life than what we sadly see all too often in the self-identified National Right to Life Groups (sometimes financially & Socially profitable for those in its leadership)Jesus spoke of a shepherd who would leave the 99 in a safe pasture to go, seek and find the 1 sheep that was not with them, that was not safe, that needed to be again under his protection IMHO we need to have and practice this attitude, this concern of our Lord Jesus Christ towards our fellow human beings born and unborn, male or female, young (even preborn) rich or poor, saved or lost, etc. etc. etc. It seems something the "PROFESSIONALS" in the business of Pro-life are lacking: 2 minutes long https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbDcxF5pUpw 45 minute long with an insightful interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbSHpIEUozs |

Good Morning! all. Providentially came across an article on Charisma News (don't get angry with me for checking their site SA has often given links to their reporting, which is often quite good on the news)https://www.charismanews.com/us/67714-francis-chan-issues-dire-warning-to-christians-changing-their-theology From the article: Pastor Francis Chan warned an audience assembled at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, that too many Christians are ashamed of the gospel and, as a result, are changing their theology. This article goes on an links to a fuller telling of the story; Chan essentially pointing to, in my words, 'we don't get persecuted for feeding the poor, we get applauded for fighting human trafficking, not persecuted, and people don't get angry with us for laboring for racial reconciliation [let me add: often lost people will flock to an entertaining, well performed inspiring Christian music concert or even Hollywood movie] Here is an often repeated example of someone ashamed of actually preaching the Gospel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mACbV4xweHE |

Adriel wrote: God's Holy Word warns us today..... 2Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." Amen! and Amen! to that, Adriel The very next verse is also powerfully filled with life: 2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Adriel, I hope you know that you've got yourself stoned or at least shunned and put on the bad list, in far too many of today's Pro-Roman Catholic Ecumenical and even Interfaith Seeker Sensitive type churches. |

Christopher000 wrote: ladybug writes: When I recall my past sins, it is troublesome to me. But, when I think of how all that vileness was laid upon Christ, it greatly distresses me to think a holy, sinless God would be a sin offering for ALL my vileness. Christopher000 Thank you for quoting Ladybug. Taking her comment deeperAn enormous part of my testimony of conversion was having a woman explain the Cross to me; He proving His very real compassionate undeserved love for me a guilty sinner, in enormous danger of perishing in my sin; Jesus dying in my place because He loved me, while I was still a sinner that brought me to where I wanted this Jesus the Bible tells us of, tells us the Truth of so many religious people aren't (I was raised Catholic), making me want to be His disciple in every part of my life, to know Him and be with Him, all the live long day, not just for 75 minutes on Sunday morning And by His grace seeing it is this kind of love He has for heartbreakingly lost sinners, desiring none to perish but for all to come to repentance that is a huge part of motivating me to go and tell them of the One who saved a wretch like me. “Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you’re not saved yourself, be sure of that!” - CHS |

Thank you, President Trump! Now for all of us who read these news reports, I urge you and pray for you and ask/beg you to pray along with me ; that you (we) would not receive this grace of God to speak freely about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in vain, and waste the opportunity we are being given here. I trust you already know, the battle is going to heat up, and the joyful victory of obedience to Jesus, to preach publicly in His name, pray in His name, speak of His name, to teach of Him to people, especially children, teens and their parents and teachers, who Satan seeks to prevent ever hearing of Him, will be more than worth it |
