Bro lurker...

The edge? Maybe admiral Richard Byrd found it? He went on 2 expeditions to Antarctica. After his first expedition he did an interview that describes Antarctica a little different than its described today. That interview is on youtube. The second military operation, which was titled "operation highjump" was the last expedition. Immediately following that expedition a treaty was signed among several nations to protect Antarctica. A treaty that stands to this day. Around that same time, the US military engaged in "operation fishbowl". Shooting warheads into the atmosphere. Operation fishbowl? Interesting name, lol.

The idea is that the interior of Antarctica is the edge. If you go south from anywhere on earth you would hit Antarctica. Which works on a flat map or a globe. The U.N. logo is a flat earth map.
Just some tidbits to chew on.

I don't wear a black face mask or saggy pants... i do have a shaved head though...

Dr tim...

A circle doesn't have to be a ball. A circle can be a ball from a distance. But it can also be a "flat" circle. So that scripture does not prove a spinning ball.

Mike...

To say the earth is flat, is to say its not a spinning ball. Water always settles level, or flat. So water is flat. The earth itself has a varying heights and depths. How deep it is? God knows. 40,230 ft. Is the deepest man has dug into the earth. Again folks, i haven't seen the earth from "space". Have you?

Its an interesting study to those who are willing to at least consider it.

Remember, the world and the powers that be hate God and his creation. So they pervert it. For example, most scientists say that the universe and the earth were made by nothing. Which is intellectual insanity. Nothing made everything? But we (believers) know that its created by the Lord.

May the Lord be praised.

And may the Lord cause his saints to be perfectly one.

Spherical trigonometry anyone? Flat earthers have some very compelling arguments if you're willing to think about it. But most people won't think about it because they've grown up knowing for certain that it's a ball. Or some people who are speaking about it are unbelievers. Isn't it the same thing with the scientist and professors who tell you we live on a spinning ball? I'm not saying it's flat, and I'm not saying it's a ball. Until I see God's creation from his vantage point, I can't make any claim. And I certainly don't take the word of man as law. Just because they show me pictures on television? Or invested scientist or professors tell me what it is? You'd think this is heretical to even consider it based on some of these comments. Funny, it was probably considered such 100 to 200 years ago for a believer to believe we are on a spinning ball.

I grew up believing jesus was a blue eyed long haired surfer looking dude. Thats what my eyes told me. I believed in him, but once i was born again, i knew him for certain.

🤔

Ahh... Babylon must be inclusive to all and show her true intentions.

I recently went to a famous national park in my state. In the heart of the park is an old church built in the 1800's. It is still a functional "church" building in which you can attend "service" on Sunday, or even have a wedding there. When i walked into this church something struck me as odd. Behind the pulpit hanging on the wall was a mural with pretty flowers on it and the word 'love'. There were no bibles to be found in site. I pulled back the mural to discover a cross on the wall. I also discovered the bibles hidden behind a veil in a book case in the front of the church. Though i wasnt surprised, i was grieved.
Cowards.

This is where we are. Let us not be cowards like them.

Lets pray that some justin bieber fans who wouldn't have ever picked up a bible to read it for themselves, would now have the seed planted to do so. And when they do, they would read it for what it says, not what man interprets that it says. Glory be to God.

I prefer the Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob version. Aka the "AIJ"

Its so rare that no one has ever found it in print. It was the scripture manifested within.

Dave...

I hope you know i care about you. Whatever your feelings are about some here on this site, i would just encourage you to take the high road. Your speech is unbecoming of a saint. Believe me, ive lost it a few times here as well, so i can relate. But there is a better way to handle it. I say this out of love.

Like the proverb says..." a soft answer turns away wrath".

Bro John...

Seeing that the church is translated "assembly", and no matter whether jew or greek, if any believe and are saved they are one with Christ, then... yes, its one assembly.

Have a blessed day in the lord brother.

Sister MS...
Hope you are well.

Let me add this also...

It took quite a bit of time for the Lord to clean my mind from preconceived notions on this subject (along with other subjects) that were taught to me by teachers i listened to. Nothing can take the place of a personal teaching relationship between us and the Lord in his word.

Good morning John.

Yes, we agree, it is all according to election. To the jew first, and the gentile.

1) yes. Saul(Paul) was the perfect example of this. Blameless according to the law. Seeking a works based righteousness. Denying the Son of God. Yet, The Lord called him to salvation.
Up till today. For example, one of my dearest brothers in Christ is a jew according to the flesh. Who was called out of darkness. And was a chosen instrument in my true conversion.

2)Agreed

Well, john...

The Lord simplified the whole law down to 2 commandments. Paul simplified it to one word, love, which is the fulfillment of the law. Against such there is no law.

So I see the power in simplifying any situation.

It takes time in the Lord to get understanding on this subject. No doubt.
May the Lord grant his people one mind .
