Still sane. Ah yes indeed. And joyful, and at peace, and at one with God, and a stranger and pilgrim in this world, and looking forward to being with Jesus for ever and ever.

I found this Creation.com article to be very informative on how exactly the new RNA vaccine method is designed to work, the pros and cons, etc.

Thank you, sister.

I dont know how many Bibles we have in our house...lots. Some are from family long past and newly departed. Some my wife & I aquired over the years.
Just one of them would get us a prison sentence in many nations. Giving out a tract or a copy of John's Gospel does the same.
Many of us here in the West take our wealth in the things of God for granted.
It is time to take inventory and give thanks to the Lord. Because the Cultural Revolution 2.0 occurring in China is manifesting itself here in the West. When will our Bibles and tracts become legally defined as "hate speech?" How long until we are prosecuted for obeying God?
Quiet Brother, I just caught your post before turning in, and you make some very valid points, especially that many of us in the west have little or no realisation of the difficulties facing our brethren in foreign climes. If there is one thing that unregenerate men realise, it is that the Bible is always at the forefront of any religious revival. Whenever the Bible is presented, sold or given away, this is what causes them fear.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105.

It always has been, always will be.

You see what I mean when I say the English are silly people? Always looking for a loophole instead of buckling down to it and getting the pandemic sorted.

Vaccines have worked wonderfully in the past, no reason why they shouldn't help in this case. Time will always tell.

It is time to begin a balloon ministry in China.

Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

So are you saying that the Lord is telling us that people should not plan or prepare?
Actually brother I am not saying anything directly. I am asking a question as to the whereabouts of the exhortation of Jesus which, in modern English, reads:

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today." Matthew 6:34 NLT

Therefore, if you find that a future event is causing you much anguish or stress, Jesus tells you to stop worrying about it. You have quite enough on your plate to worry about today, never mind tomorrow.

Or do you have a different interpretation of the text, brother? If so, let me hear it. Thank you.

Amen bro! We may not know the day or the hour, but there are many signs in the world today that "the coming of the Lord is near" James 5:8 NLT.

I agree brother, this is good news. Me and my siblings were all born in the 1940s. We were probably considered poor and I was the only one born in a hospital. All the others were via midwives. I guess my point is midwives were at one time very prominent and I’m not even sure if they still exist in this country.
I don’t know anything about this lady, but the below comes to mind.
Exodus 1:17 But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.
The 1940's must seem an awful long time ago, Frank. Time goes by very fast, or so it seems. And it seems to go faster as we get older.

I agree that midwifery would have been a normal position to hold in a community in Bible days. And not only that, but it would have been the Lord's preferred method for women having babies.

Yes it makes a nice change to have some good news. I much prefer it to bad news.

It sure does, Mike.

And hot is an understatement.

I am not able to comment, because I do not understand the various criterior: constitution, local laws, council laws, state laws, and so on. For any who reject the law of God, these laws are all they have - secular.

This is a tricky subject. For example, is Islam a 'race' or a 'religion' or a 'terrorist organisation'?

"The University of Nottingham has settled with a midwifery student whom it tried to expel for her association with a campus pro-life group."

Maybe they will think more carefully, if ever this situation comes up again.

It is good news!

What a waste of a God-given life, to devote oneself to attacking God and God's people. Not only that, it is stupidity also, for what is the reward for doing such? Spending eternity in a lake of fire, being continually punished for sin.

Dear John, and others. This is on their own websites. What they propose to do. I do rest in this, however. The Lord will have them in derision, He will laugh, He will vex them in His sore displeasure as in Psalm 2, and the Lord Jesus Christ will indeed confound them in their designs.
Chris, this is a wonderful and positive approach to the end-times, which I greatly appreciate personally, and thank you for, as it comforts my spirit and warms my heart, to hear of the precious Lord Jesus and his plans, and his exceedingly infinite power in order to carry through his plans without interference from the little man which he made.

None of those biblically refute the Hebrews verse. Many don’t even apply . The Hebrews verse is clearly talking to people in the church from what I read. Again your points are all non biblical based opinions
Darius, thank you. You cast off all my points as if they were bird poo on your fishing rod.

However, if you want a serious look at this:

There is a legalistic view of the verse and a spiritually fruitful view of the verse. Let us look at the latter first.

The latter view is excellent, and is a fruit of the Spirit. Because of a deep love in the heart for all saints, there is also a deep desire in the heart for regular fellowship with those saints. And so, to meet together is a desire, a need. This is why I meet together with my fellow saints every week, and have done throughout the pandemic.

The first view of the verse is a legalistic view of the verse, and it is often used by church leaders when people play truant (with good reason), and it seems the only way to gain obedience, by threats of God's judgment. This makes it psychological manipulation, which God does not appreciate. Some churches specialise in this form of oppression.

Chris, is it true that one day soon you will share with all of us how you have prepared for all these things, so that you can avoid them? Or are you merely a prophet of doom who will have to accept these things if they happen?

And whatever happened to the "Take no thought for the morrow..." exhortation from the lips of Jesus Christ?
