Chrisgp from England wrote: Dear John, and others. This is on their own websites. What they propose to do. I do rest in this, however. The Lord will have them in derision, He will laugh, He will vex them in His sore displeasure as in Psalm 2, and the Lord Jesus Christ will indeed confound them in their designs. Chris, this is a wonderful and positive approach to the end-times, which I greatly appreciate personally, and thank you for, as it comforts my spirit and warms my heart, to hear of the precious Lord Jesus and his plans, and his exceedingly infinite power in order to carry through his plans without interference from the little man which he made. |

Darius wrote: John Lee None of those biblically refute the Hebrews verse. Many donât even apply . The Hebrews verse is clearly talking to people in the church from what I read. Again your points are all non biblical based opinions Darius, thank you. You cast off all my points as if they were bird poo on your fishing rod. However, if you want a serious look at this: There is a legalistic view of the verse and a spiritually fruitful view of the verse. Let us look at the latter first. The latter view is excellent, and is a fruit of the Spirit. Because of a deep love in the heart for all saints, there is also a deep desire in the heart for regular fellowship with those saints. And so, to meet together is a desire, a need. This is why I meet together with my fellow saints every week, and have done throughout the pandemic. The first view of the verse is a legalistic view of the verse, and it is often used by church leaders when people play truant (with good reason), and it seems the only way to gain obedience, by threats of God's judgment. This makes it psychological manipulation, which God does not appreciate. Some churches specialise in this form of oppression. |

Chris, is it true that one day soon you will share with all of us how you have prepared for all these things, so that you can avoid them? Or are you merely a prophet of doom who will have to accept these things if they happen? And whatever happened to the "Take no thought for the morrow..." exhortation from the lips of Jesus Christ? |
