"More than 650 coronavirus cases have been linked to nearly 40 churches and religious events across the United States since the beginning of the pandemic, with many of them erupting over the last month as Americans resumed their pre-pandemic activities, according to a New York Times database."Are you kidding me? This is news? Churches should close because the NY Times says that churches are dangerous? Look at the numbers. "...650 cornavirus cases... linked to churches... in the U.S.... SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE PANDEMIC..." 650 out of 3,159,671 cases as of this writing? That's .02% of the cases. "...Many of them erupting over the last month..." Are you telling me that the youths that have been protesting, marching, rioting, rampaging and tearing down monuments, partying, and going to bars and beaches in groves have also been going to church to show their repentance? Is that why the cases have been "erupting over the last month?" The same NY Times that was the genesis of and perpetuated some of the greatest lies over the past few years in American history? A very small portion of the 45,000 churches in America have opened. And many will never open again primarily because of articles like this one. |

The Quiet Christian wrote: Thank you, Brother Carl, for yet another solid post full of wisdom. While the world has no business directing the body of Christ, the clear teaching of the Bible is against such divisions. I often consider Revelation 7:9-17 which shows a mass of people from every ethnicity and language before the Throne. That's the pattern we are to conform to. We're going to be celebrating the Father and the Lamb for eternity together. That should start now. Rev 9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!â€Yes, brother! What a glorious day that will be! Dress in the same attire, saying exactly the same thing with one voice, standing before our God and Father, and before our LORD and Savior. This event is an answer to the question asked by the lost at His glorious appearance "For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand" (Rev 6:17). Only the saints are able to stand at the LORD's coming. We stand now! |
