I was living and working in Milan Italy, and another smaller town nearby for a year or so in the early 1980's, when the Banco Ambrosiana (linked up with the Vatican Bank) bankruptcy and fraud scandal, broke out, associated with both the Vatican Bank led by a corrupt American Catholic bishop named Marcinko, I think, who was sent to a monastery to live out his remaining days in disgrace, and a mysterious Masonic Lodge called P2, whose previous Grand Master, Signor Gelli, (I think I got the name right), who escaped from Swiss police custody, and ended up a few days later hanging from Blackfriars Bridge in the middle of the City of London, a very suspicious death passed off as suicide, but actually consistent with a Masonic style murder.

A very murky turn of events and not very well covered up, and very big news at the time in Italy when I was there.

However, like the official position on Sermon Audio as expressed by Steven Lee, and very forcefully by some other commentators on threads concerning Billy Graham, and also his son, Revd Franklin Graham, as well as another famous evangelist, Luis Palau, who also died recently, I was deeply concerned that people who responded at the crusades, who came from a Catholic background, were tragically referred back to those churches, rather than to good solid evangelical Protestant churches.

This was a grievous error, and tragically led to great confusion and was used tragically by the enemy to divert souls away from the Biblical gospel.

I attended 2 crusades of Billy Graham at Bristol City FC ground in the 1980's in person, watched live video links of a couple of his Norwich City FC meetings, and watched a recorded BBC1 TV Songs of Praise, which featured a crusade meeting he did in London, Wembley Stadium, I think, all in the 1980's.

I do not think we can presume to question whether or not Billy Graham himself was saved, and it is certainly true that a large number of people were truly saved in his meetings, though other factors may have been involved as well, and no doubt many of these converts were disciples properly in good solid evangelical churches afterwards.

I have also watched some very old black and white videos of his earlier meetings, which I think were rather more biblical than his later meetings, and probably because he hadn't developed his ecumenical links yet.

He also was a man of high integrity, and there are no scandals regarding money, sex or power associated with him unlike many televangelists today.

Interestingly most Catholic parish priests used to hire lay female housekeepers to cook and clean for them, except that some parishes had "parish sisters" who are like community nuns, in an open order, who carried out this function.

I read an article in a local community magazine that was written by a local priest, and he said it is not the custom now, since Vatican 2, at least at parish level, and most priests, including himself, do their own cooking and cleaning.

I suspect that this problem was more pronounced in the higher clergy, and more in recent centuries, as nuns were totally enclosed in the Middle Ages, and could not leave their convents at all.

In the earlier centuries the bishops would have used lay brothers and lower clergy to cook and clean for them.

in the whole of Israel, with the Jews totally expelled, and the Christians as persecuted second class "dhimmi" citizens, subject of course to Sharia law and all its consequences. All Jews and non-Muslims would of course be totally banned from the Temple Mount, and even the Old City.

This is basically what the whole UN, EU, Foreign Office, and despite President Trump, the US Department of State actually desires, along with much of the professing Christian Church, including many evangelicals who are sold out to Replacement Theology.

Basically, what this means is that the British Foreign Office, has for its own nefarious reasons,(rather like your US Secretary of State Office), at last permitted a senior member of the Royal Family to visit Israel, (but that of course means that they must visit East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, aka by the Foreign Office and the UN, as the "Occupied Palestinian Territories"), and show deference to the "Palestinian" leaders and their propaganda.

No member of the Royal Family was ever allowed to go there before, since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.

I believe that Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen's husband and consort, wanted to go there many years ago when he was a much younger man, as I believe his devoutly Greek Orthodox mother was buried in Jerusalem, but the Foreign Office did not permit it.

Our Foreign Office is stoutly pro-Arab, and apparently apart from a very quick blip in 1917 with Balfour and his famous Declaration, which they have always been sorry about afterwards, always has been, as is your US Department of State, still stuffed with Obama appointees, and both are still committed to the mad "two state solution", as the "Palestinians" only actually want a one state solution, an Arab Sharia Muslim Palestinian state on the who

Of course Mr Fabian Hamilton had forgotten that the baby in the womb is being abused, nay murdered, and indeed the actual abusers of the woman going into the clinic are the abortionists themselves.

The people outside trying to pursuade the lady not to go into these modern temples of Baal, Ashtoreth, Chemosh and Molech, are seeking to bring these ladies life, and also to save their babies from the wicked sacrifice that is about to be inflicted upon them by the mercenary money grubbing cynical abortionists, the modern priests and priestesses of these false gods and goddesses in their modern clinical sanitised garb!!!

In response to our brother Phillip Mezzapelle from Sicily in Italy; I lived in the other end of Italy in the North in the great city of Milan and another smaller town nearby for over a year in the early 1980's.

I attended 2 evangelical churches, 1 English Baptist church run by an American missionary couple, and an Italian Baptist Union church

Sadly the latter Church had an elderly and solid evangelical pastor who was just about to retire, and he was replaced by a younger man who was full of "theology" and liberal ideas.

Even the indigenous pre-Reformation Protestant Waldensian Church, which was so savagely persecuted for centuries, has now gone liberal, and merged with the Methodists.

There is a large Catholic "Charismatic" movement, and that was the first open air evangelism I ever saw in Milan. I had to wait for months before I came across some members of a Brethren Assembly having a lively open air in the Parco Sempione in Milan in front of a lot of young people amoking marijuana quite openly in the park!!!

of the "mighty" USA.

What utter carelessness by the politically correct brigade in the US Department of Defense, still stuffed with Obama appointees and the various leftist activist judges that have forced this issue.

The Western formerly Judeo-Christian nations such as USA, Sweden, Canada, Australia, my own Britain and the countries of Western and Northern Europe sure know how to commit suicide quickly.

Meanwhile Islamic fanatics of what is left of ISIS and Al Qaeda, to say nothing of Iran, Turkey, Russia, China and of course North Korea are rubbing their hands with glee at the delightful prospect to them of meeting, killing, or still even capturing alive these "Transgender" and LGBT crack soldiers, sailors and airmen

2nd World War to a remote island colony as Governor out of harm's way.

Prince Harry, however, is well down the line of succession, as his father Charles, Prince of Wales, is the next heir, then his older brother, William, Duke of Cambridge, and then his nephew, Prince George, and if childless in later life, his Neice, Princess Charlotte.

It does however show the change in religious climate between 1936 and 2018, and a vast difference between PM Stanley Baldwin and Archbishop Cosmo Lang, who told Edward VIII that he couldn't have both the throne and his wife, and in our modern day PM May and Archbishop Justin Welby, who seem to have no problem on this issue!!

Prince Harry, and his US American divorcee wife, Meghan Markle, got away with something that cost Prince Harry's great great uncle, Edward VIII, formerly the Prince of Wales, and then after his abdication from the throne, the Duke of Windsor, (his US American divorcee wife, Mrs Wallis Simpson was also reluctantly allowed the title Duchess of Windsor), the throne and indeed he was never crowned at Westminster Abbey, and his reluctant younger brother, George VI, took over as King, and was the father of our present Queen Elizabeth II.

George VI, who did not enjoy good health, had a very distinguished short reign from 1936 to 1953, and took us through the fearful times of the 2nd World War, and was interestingly, the King who called for days of fasting and prayer at certain crisis times in the war.

His wife, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, who died only a few years ago aged 102, I think, never forgave her brother-in-law and sister-in-law for neglecting their duty, and thereby forcing her husband to take up the Kingdom unexpectedly. Despite this, George VI was a good king, and God used him greatly, and it is thought that had he been king, Edward VIII would have pandered to the Nazis during the war, as he had some sympathies towards them, and was indeed shunted off during the

I have heard that there is a whole bevy of North Korean state security police in plainclothes who accompany the cheerleaders everywhere they go, even to the toilet, and listen in to every word they say.

They are of course, forbidden to say anything about what they have seen in South Korea on their return home, and naturally they come only from the handpicked party members that are permitted to live in Pyongyang the capital, with a highly privileged status, and naturally their relatives and family members are back home in North Korea, also in most cases in their privileged status in Pyongyang, and the cheerleaders know that the slightest infraction of the rules means a return in disgrace, instant arrest at the border, including the arrest of their whole family as well, and life afterwards for them all in one of the infamous prison or concentration camps!!!

I suspect that is what many of the very strong evangelicals in the Church of England will do.

Some, who are not at all attached to liturgy, have left and gone into the "Free" non-Anglican churches, like Reformed Baptist, Presbyterian, Free Evangelical, etc.

Others have gone into the tiny Free Church of England, and the Reformed denomination, the Church of England (Continuing).

Some of the larger very robust evangelical Anglican churches where preaching is very strong, like St Helens Bishopsgate in the City of London are very likely to leave the offficial Church of England to become semi-official Anglican parishes under foreign evangelical African, Asian or South American Anglican bishops, and it is very likely that some Anglican denominations in Nigeria, Uganda, etc will break away all together from Lambeth and Canterbury, while remaining distinctively Anglican.

However, finally and tragically, many "evangelical" Anglican churches, particularly of the charismatic variety, and even some of the on-charismatic ones will just duck, and reluctantly go with the flow, and stay in, compromising their whole position.

What absolute hypocrisy!! Iceland is the country where they claim to have eradicated Downs Syndrome, but that is because 100% of Downs Syndrome babies are aborted, (Denmark is slightly more "conservative" as it is 90% there), and abortion is freely available and where there is a great pagan revival, including the building of a brand new pagan temple to the old "gods", just outside Reykjavik on land supplied, I believe, by the municipality!!

I trust that the revived pagan worshippers will, presumably not be offering up animal, and even worse, human sacrifices, as that really would be a problem for the secular legislators!!!

I wonder if the local ecumenical Lutheran Church will object to this law, as they are interested in interfaith relations, and this could rock the ecumenical interfaith boat!!

If it was just the Jews, that were affected by this proposed legislation, think this law would go through without a problem, but Muslims also circumcise their children and I suspect that could cause a problem for the legislators, as nobody in the secular West these days wants to offend Islam!!!

I agree that this lady should not be a pastor, as this is an office reserved in scripture for men only. I also understand that this is common in Pentecostal churches, and particularly those in the black community.

However, this lady had made a stand in her place of work which should be honoured, which cannot be said of many very correct evangelical Christians from more traditional churches that might well equivocate and compromise a little, or keep silent on the LGBT question.

This Pope is proving to be a shock for many traditional Catholics, as he even opposes Catholic doctrine!!!

He is a liberation theologian, a Jesuit, a Marxist and a Universalist who sells out even his own bishops in China to the Communist authorities, and suppresses the truth about paedophile bishops (as he did in Chile), and even closed down the very people who bring these things to his attention.

How many professed evangelicals can do deals with this man is beyond me!!! I guess it is something called deception!!!

Yes, penned, it probably is; but God is still sovereign, and there have been some true conversions through this outreach, though tiny in number.

We have to occupy until He comes, and this church and others like it are beacons in a dark place.

If this had happened 100 years ago, (actually no way would it have happened 100 years ago), the official responsible for making this absolutely ludicrous appointment would have been charged no doubt with treason and sedition, and the new appointee would have been taken under armed guard to the nearest port on to a ship bound for his birth place!!!

It is tragic that these formerly great Christian countries are plotting how to commit suicide as quickly as possible.

Why do Muslims need to bother with suicide bombs, terror and street beheadings, to say nothing of rape, general lawlessness and rioting, when their work is being done for them by willing PC bureaucrats and liberal secular humanists, as well as the LGBT and Transgender crowd, and aided by abortion and euthanasia.

The Muslims are laughing all the way to the bank, as Judeo-Christian culture is destroyed, the nation rots from inside, and sharia law is quickly being established, not so much by the Muslims themselves, but the "dhimmi" traitors who run the country and are handing it over to them stage by stage.

This city is now very strongly Islamic, although there is also a strong Hindu and Sikh community as well.

The City Council also has many Islamic councillors, and one of the leading spokesmen for British Islam is the imam of a very large purpose built mosque in the city.

Meanwhile the official "Christian" churches are bending over backwards to accommodate this, with their interfaith approach.

I do, however, praise God, that there is some clear witness there, as the last church I attended, in the Islamic district, a large evangelical church, is uncompromisingly reaching out to the Muslims, and preaching the Gospel faithfully there.
