At last. The churches in Britain were completely closed down during the 1st lockdown in March, (“just 3 weeks to flatten the curve”, which turned into 4 months, even though the curve was long flattened). Deafening silence from the churches, and even overzealous rules from some like the Anglican bishops forbidding online services from the church buildings. Nothing at all from evangelicals. Finally “private prayer” permitted in June, end of, and then under very stringent conditions, services allowed in July. Some churches insisted on masks for a couple of weeks before they were made compulsory, no singing bans, (later slightly modified for a soloist or spaced choir behind a screen), no social fellowship, taping off seats, loud notices, no one to sit together outside their bubble, no communion or baptism,(or interfered with), no church weddings or funerals, (later on permitted as private services under strict conditions), and continued closure of many other things, and all this after a 32 page or so “risk assessment” to be produced!! Later due to tier restrictions and Rule of Six, even more restrictions. Then suddenly, first in Wales, then in England, no services again. Everything done to comply. Praise the Lord, both in Wales and now in England churches are rising up and saying “En

As per usual a very weak response from the Anglican Archbishops. The Catholic Archbishops came out with a slightly stronger response and will make some representations about the closure of churches. As yet the usual deafening silence of the masked no singing evangelicals. This 2nd English lockdown (supposedly a month long from Thursday) which closes all non food, non pharmacy shops, all restaurants and pubs, (except for takeaway meals), and churches (except this time private prayer is permitted and funerals!!), was ill thought out, cobbled together and rushed through the weekend, because the 2 Health and Cabinet Ministers, Hancock and Gove, accompanied by the 2 “scientific vultures”, Professor Whitty and Dr Vallance, aided by the opportunistic Labour Party opposition, poured pressure with fear mongering predictions of bodies piled up in ice rink morgues and ‘000’s of cases a day. They also attacked the PM for not doing a shorter circuit breaker lockdown earlier. They also pointed to France, Germany and Belgium imposing their own 2nd lockdowns. Yet, Wales is now coming out of theirs, as will be NI, and even leftist Scotland hasn’t yet declared a full lockdown. The churches have complied with everything yet are still being closed. Disgraceful!!

This is indeed a tragic story. Liberty University made a great mistake when it allowed the foundsr’s son to become their 2nd president. This is a mistake that some fundamentalist churches make, to automatically make the founding pastor’s son or nephew, or a relative as their next pastor, at least without going in to his Christian testimony and really examining his character closely. The church needs plural eldership, the university needs an internal board of trustees to whom the President is accountable, and an external board of reference of godly pastors who can check on these things. The medieval Roman Catholic Church often appointed nephews and illegitimate sons of Popes to high office, this was called nepotism, along with simony, the sale of offices. The Italian brother Phillip Mezzapelle pointed out the right Bible verse. Whatever little reputation that Jerry Falwell Jr may have had will vanish with this court case. Liberty University must completely start from scratch, and go back completely to a solid Biblical and fully evangelical foundation, trusting in God alone.

It was the head presiding bishop of this dying denomination, Bishop Michael Curry, who himself is fully behind the LGBTQI+ revolution, as well as such things as Critical Race Theory and “social justice” aka “the social gospel” who was chosen by the Marxist leaning Meghan Markle and the now politically correct rebel Prince Harry, second grandson of the queen and younger brother of Prince William, the second heir to the throne (and their father Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, the first heir to the throne by the way is completely behind globalisation, interfaith, and the “climate change” environmentalism UN / World Economic Forum agenda), to preach at their wedding. Since virtually resigning from the British Royal Family, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, (but now technically unable to use his HRH title), has been hiding in his huge mansion, with his leftist wife Meghan and their baby son, Archie, in Hollywood, spouting on leftist political matters and without naming him, or them as such, supporting the Biden / Harris presidential bid and the Democrats.

Episcopal Bishop William Love, Bishop of Albany, who has now resigned and will lay down his bishopric in Albany New York in February, because he would not compromise over allowing “gay marriages” in his cathedral and parish churches is no doubt, a saintly man in the mould of the late 19th century first bishop of Liverpool, the famous Bishop John Charles Ryle, who stood like a beacon in the Church of England in his day. This man, Bishop Love, has a most appropriate name as he preached true love to sinners, by refusing to pander to their wickedness and cater to their “weddings”. He can either join one of the many evangelical “Free churches”, or I do believe, if he wishes to stick to the Prayer Book, there are one or two very small Anglican style breakaway churches that also stand firm on this vital matter. Meanwhile the mainstream Anglican Episcopal Church in the US, will continue continue to plummet downwards into a suicidal decline.

I strongly suspect Mr Blakeford, the Welsh First Minister has unfortunately been reading about California and Michigan, and most likely the even more stringent and drastic lockdown of Melbourne and Victoria in Australia. He made a right mess of closing down “non-essential” shops in his 2nd lockdown, and taping off such goods in supermarkets. He also imposed Australian style internal travel bans, (though not as rigidly enforced), and the disgraceful closing of churches a second tune was quite unnecessary. All churches in Wales had compulsory masks, social distancing and a ban on congregational singing before this lockdown, so there was no need to shut them.

godly people who are called to celibacy as a vocation by the Lord. What is being dealt with here is the wrong self-centred type of singleness, that actually isn’t singleness at all, but as an “independent” style of living that is hedonistic and involved immorality either or both heterosexual and homosexual. That is what is wrong.

There is nothing wrong with singleness for either men or women if it is a genuine calling from God for that particular person. I think that because the Roman Catholic Church overemphasised celibacy over marriage, making it compulsory for their priests and monastics, after the Refotmation many of the Protestant churches downplayed voluntary celibacy, and emphasised marriage to the point that even their pastors were expected to be married, and even now many single people in truly Biblical evangelical churches are made to feel less than adequate, or are pressured to marry. The singleness we should be criticising is not that if godly

The wild leftist Scottish Nationalist devolved government are at it again. Remember this lot rules Scotland in everything except foreign affairs, defence, immigration and some tax affairs, that are run by the U.K. government in Westminster. The SNP government are the ones that are always pulling out strange laws that are absolutely wild, ill thought out and very leftist. They have now totally outlawed all physical punishment of children as a criminal offence, their LGBTQI+ curriculum in schools is even more wide ranging and radical than the one that OFSTED enforces in England and Wales (the latter has a devolved Leftist Labour government). Thankfully the SNP government in Scotland were defeated by popular backlash and finally court action over their ill conceived scheme to mandate a state appointed guardian over all children, overruling their parents. The SNP also wishes to break away from Britain as an “independent” country and rejoin the EU!!

For decades and decades we have had flu. I have had it on a number of occasions, once or twice seriously. I never went to the doctor, but stayed at home with good strong self medication. I recovered. No lockdowns, no police, no fines, no one telling me what I may purchase or not, no closing of borders, domestic or international, no ban on family gatherings or seeing your elderly mother or grandmother, no ban on singing or church services and no masks in sight. Yes, flu is and was serious, and some very elderly or unwell people died of it. Yet no politician thought to destroy the economy and impose a draconian dictatorial authoritarian regime. Yet along comes this man made virus, with a sinister agenda behind it, though for most people no worse than the flu, and the whole world goes crazy and into lockdown. This has more to do with population control and environmentalism than any health issue, and in fact lockdowns create health issues that are extremely serious. Cases are not what matter but deaths, and these are extremely low. Even your US CDC has admitted this, and a doctor on the WHO has said lockdowns do not work. Yet, the globalists are pushing constantly for the “new normal”, and Governor Newsom now tells you how you are allowed to have family gatherings. This is 1984!!

Jim Lincoln’s fascinating diatribe against the Conservative Polish Government and their appointment of Conservative judges, quite ably describes to a tee what his chosen candidate, Joe Biden, and the real President should they be elected, Kamala Harris will do to both the Supreme Court and the lesser federal courts. They will pack the court with leftist pro-abortion, pro-LGBTQI+ pro-Environmentalist Marxist activist judges, that will strike down any laws they don’t like and write in any jaws they do like. They (Biden and Harris), will pack the court with extra justices, make sure that as soon as any constitutionalist judge retires or dies, they are replaced with these activists. They will also ensure that as many leftist Marxist district attorneys are elected as soon as possible. Jim’s favourite policies then can be carried out, and of course, any opposition can either be sued in civil law, or prosecuted by criminal law, or both.

to continue with some EU laws, as no hard border may exist with NI and the Republic, when England, Wales and Scotland fully leave the EU on December 31st. This is also part of the “Good Friday” peace agreement, and means that NI is in a kind of customs and immigration agreement with the Republic. The Republic of Ireland is thrilled with this turn of events, as it is now mute secular than Catholic, has ultra liberal abortion and “gay marriage” laws, in their case through popular referendums, and also binds NI more closely with them and separating NI more from mainland Britain. As the DUP support goes down, I suspect the day may soon come when NI will be separated fromBritain, and merge with the Republic, the EU and join the euro currency. We shall see.

This is the tragic outcome, partly of the liberal “Conservatives” in power in the Westminster Parliament, when direct rule over Northern Ireland was being operated by the U.K. government when the Northern Ireland Assembly was not able to meet, and the outcome of the “Good Friday” Peace Agreement, much lauded and pushed by former US President Bill Clinton, which forces a coalition government on Northern Ireland composed of the Conservative predominantly Protestant (and often evangelical) and pro-UK Democratic Unionist Party, and the very liberal leftist nominally Catholic (Pope Francis style, but really secular) and pro-Republic of Ireland and prosperity-EU Sinn Fein. Northern Ireland is not allowed to have a majority party rule, but must have a coalition government of these two parties. When they fall out Westminster steps in and imposes direct rule. The parties have now got back, so their coalition government is back in power. It was during the direct rule that Westminster forced abortion and “gay marriage” in Northern Ireland. These cannot be reversed, as though the DUP is unhappy with them, Sinn Fein supports them, so that would break up the coalition again. NI does not want that, and the DUP support is going down. NI is now in a strange position, as after Brexit it is forced

Strictly speaking the “Infallibility of the Pope”, a doctrine formally invented by Pope Pius IX in the 1st Vatican Council, in 1870, just as Italian National troops, and their King were about to seize the Papal States of Central Italy, and the city of Rome, only refers to the actual statements made by the Pope “ex cathedra” declaring new doctrine as infallible from the “Chair of St Peter”. Anything else the Pope says, even in an encyclical, is not necessarily infallible, according to Catholic doctrine, though many Catholics may regard it as authoritative, and technically it can be rejected. A small number of Traditionalist Catholics, Cardinals, archbishops, bishops, clergy, deacons, monastics and laity have, and regularly reject the liberalist, globalist, modernist and Marxist utterances of Pope Francis, but many of the most powerful leaders in the Catholic Church go along with it.

Praise God for this excellent decision of the judge over the 2 churches in Colorado, that can now hold normal type services, without masks and presumably able to obey the Psalms and praise the Lord with singing. Here in England we still have the nonsense of every one spaced out, no true fellowship permitted, masks compulsory for everyone, yet no one allowed to sing (except for a soloist or spaced out choir behind a screen, or listening to tinny recorded hymns, without singing them), communion and baptism being banned or strictly regulated. Worse in Wales, they have just entered into a two and a half week lockdown, churches have to completely close again except for strictly regulated weddings and funerals. By the way, this Welsh First Minister, Mr Blakefird, a leftist, has banned shops from selling “non-essential” goods, so tailed off areas of supermarkets, like as in Michigan!!

There is a lot of popular sympathy for the evangelicals, as I understand it, and every year there are two national Te Deums held. Both are usually attended by the President and state officials. One is Catholic. The other one is Protestant Evangelical, and is usually held in a very large church called the “Evangelical Cathedral”! Though the church is run by the Methodist Pentecostal Church, the choirs and orchestras for the day, come from different churches all over Chile, and sit in a huge balcony as the mass choir / orchestra for the day, with a vast congregation below, and it is broadcast in national television. I have seen one or two of these on YouTube videos, and stirring hymns and choruses are sung. (I can speak Spanish), Many Chilean towns and cities have a number of these churches, with their choirs and orchestras, (there is even an indigenous independent version of the Salvation Army that wears white uniforms, and marches down the streets, with a full band). There is evangelism and street preaching is very popular, as are traditional style evangelistic campaigns. I have seen many videos of this.

This is very sad. Though the two churches burned here were Catholic Churches, do not forget that anarchists and Marxists like Antifa and BLM, hate all Christians (and Hews as well, they are still-Semitic too). In Chile, the Antifa riot did get mixed up with a local leftist protest about subway (metro) fares, and living conditions for the poor. Basically, the protesters wish to return to the early 1970’s brutal Marxist Allende style government, that was overthrown by an even more brutal right wing military dictatorship led by General Punichet. That government did eventually collapse, but some elements of his time remained in the constitution. What has happened in Chine, like many South American iubtried, is a resurgence of evangelical, mainly Pentecostal churches. Unlike Pentecostal churches in other S American countries, the ones in Chile, have been more “traditional” Pentecostal churches. They have huge orchestras and choirs, often half the congregation, featuring the mandolin, brsss and violins!!

This is so tragic. This university, affiliated to the Christian Reformed Church, has apparently gone the way of many other “evangelical” colleges and universities and apparently, if not with total enthusiasm, embraced the LGBTQI+ culture. How can Reformed churches, with their previous doctrinal statements (Westminster Larger & Shorter Catechism) for the more Scottish / English / Irish ones, (Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession and Synod of Dordt), for the more Continental ones, and both movements having an emphasis on Holy Scripture and the Psalms in particular have gone so wrong. What about this young lady? Did she come from a godly Christian home? Did she attend a good solid Bible teaching and believing church in her childhood and youth? How did she get corrupted into this lifestyle? I tragically saw something like this as far back ago as my college days in the hate 1970’s, there a seemingly Christian young lady from a good family, got sucked into the then embryonic LGBTQI+ movement and ended up with a lesbian “partner”. Very sad, very tragic, what deception!

The much vaunted ObamaCare also required all employers who used health insurance for their employees, to cover abortion, contraception, and “family planning”, as well as transgender treatment. Christian churches, schools, and individual employers were required to provide this in the health insurance. Thankfully, the courts have actually gone against their usual grain, and there have been instances where they have ruled against this. Biden and Harris (particularly the latter, as she is a militant supporter of Planned Parenthood, and all it stands for), will codify this in federal law, will squash the state’s if they go against this, and will pack the Supreme Court and lower federal courts with many leftist activist judges who will, if necessary defy your Constitution and write their own pro-abortion laws on the bench, and strike down anything pro-life that comes before them. If Biden and Harris win, it will be suspiciously like the northern kingdom of Israel, when it was ruled by a wicked but weak king, (Ahab), and a even more wicked and manipulative queen, (Jezebel), and the false religion of Baal was the state religion!!

Here in Britain, thankfully despite the increase in local lockdowns mask wearing outside has not been made compulsory, unlike certain states in USA, Victoria in Australia, and much of Europe. Masks must be worn in most indoor places except when actually eating or drinking, or if required by police or a medical official or fir identity. Britain now has different regimes. Northern Ireland has now a partial lockdown, Wales, whose First Minister is a strong leftist, has a 2 and a half week “circuit breaker” lockdown, (virtually same conditions as the complete lockdown in March), travel ban, including an illegal ban on anyone from other parts of the U.K, this will include churches closing down completely again, except for weddings and funerals, (masks, separated seating, no singing, no’s strictly limited, and no wedding reception or funeral wake), Scotland is considering similar measures, and while he is holding out against an all England national lockdown, PM Boris Johnson is forcing most of the urban areas into Tier 2, (strict), or even in to Tier 3, (very strict), the matter actually involving a partial lockdown. The Republic of Ireland has gone even further, and gone for a very strict 6 week national lockdown, just like March. I fear this is all being driven by politics and fear,
