Pat wrote: Today downloads are taking an extremely long time (about and hour versus 1-2 minutes). Are you having technical problems? We are currently not experiencing any technical problems but the download activity is certainly higher than normal. But even with the increased activity, the download speed should still be very fast for the most part. Some sermons will experience slower speeds than others. If you're running into an excessive problem, please send us an email and let me know which sermon (exactly) is going too slow and I'll try moving it to a different server. Thank you. |

Dr. Hamp Linehan wrote: I am an elder in and maintain the website for the First Baptist Church of Richland Hills, Texas. We have used SermonAudio for a few years, and link our church website to SermonAudio so that the user can hear our pastors sermons. This required the user to click "Play," and the sermon would start. Actually, you can click on the "Later" button on that page to skip having to supply any information. The only information we ask for is an email address and a ZIP code (if applicable) to help us track the sermon downloads more accurately. But again, clicking the "Later" button can skip this step altogether. Also, we are currently in the process of providing ]]even more tools and web services for webmasters to put sermons found on SermonAudio on their own site that ]]link directly to the audio without the need of any intermediate "play" page. This will all be happening very shortly. Thank you for your suggestions and patience. |

Discerning Believer wrote: Thanks Sermonaudio. I've downloaded them again and all is working fine with the exception of SID=819071545542. I may have missed that one in my list. It's been done as well. Thank you. |

Discerning Believer wrote: The following sermons by E.D. Manard do are not recognized by Media Player 10 or 11. Both the stream and download versions We have confirmed this and have re-encoded these MP3s so that they should now be OK. We have also sent a notification email to the broadcaster letting them know of this issue with the encoding. Thank you. |

Brethren, "but now ye also put off all these ... filthy communication out of your mouth." Colossians 3:8. We would appreciate your cooperation in keeping all comments "gutter-free." |

MIc wrote: How do I make Itunes or Windows Media Player my default player ? I had the same problem as you , and it was the worst sound in the world coming out of my perfectly good speakers. For Windows XP and Windows Media Player, go to "Tools/Options" and under the "File Types" tab, select ALL. That should do it. |

Well, it seems that what started out as a simple need to explain the reason for the site being down for a period of time has degenerated and digressed in a direction that was not intended. All I can say is that we're doing our best and we hope we'll be able to continue to be of service to both churches and listeners alike for years to come. Thank you. |
