First, there have to be facts. But when truth became relative rather than absolute, now there are no facts because nothing is true. The former President is only suggesting a gobernment-enforced system of belief. I think a good example is the PRC's system...is that what anyone wants to live under?

It is an interesting tactic to call the opposition "Nazi" in an attempt to paint them before the facts paint you.

Listening and learning from one another is a fine exercise. But it is a better exercise to listen and learn from the Lord as established in His word. Otherwise, we become part of the creation and forwarding of crowd-sourced more and so-called truth.

What I would like to better understand is how murdering the unborn child in the womb empowers that should-be mother. How is ridding the womb of the unintended product of mostly out-of-wedlock sexual activity empowering? It doesn't make any sense. But being the father of a developmentally disabled child, I'm not sure any explanation anyone could offer woukd make any sense.

May the Lord protect His people & make their witness effective, calling many more to Himself.

Sad to suggest, but one might expect to see similar with some of the high profile church v. California battles that are ongoing.

It indeed does, dear brother, have a warrant. How would you approach this in practical terms, though? Obviously a start with fervent prayer.

Amen, Brotger Frank! The problem is that our society wants to throw off those standards and make up their own as if they are their own gods and the creators of themselves. Really soumds like a Psalm 2 scenario.

Critical Race Theory is at the root of Jim's post, Doc. CRT labels us all oppressors & racists. Doesn't make it true. But they sure make a lot of noise over their false theories.

Found a statement regarding this book....

"As others have already noted, the book is bad. Not just a little bad. A lot bad. Why? Because it puts hands and feet to a noxious ideology called Critical Race Theory (CRT). In fact, you might say that White Fragility is a project in applied CRT. As such, it is a toxic stew of racial animus masquerading as erudite theory. Its prescriptions are pedantic, infantilizing, and guaranteed to increase racial conflict rather than easing it."

I hear what you are saying, Brother Frank. It's not likely an easy field to harvest.

On the one hand, Jesus instructed His disciples to walk away from cities that rejected His Gospel.

But they still had to try. Someone said once, don't know if he was right, that Livingston who was an original missionary to Sub-Sahara Africa had no converts. Today, faith is Christ is apparently sweeping the continent. He planted a lot of seed, and it took a while, but there is the harvest. So it's not an easy answer nor an easy mission field. But KLOVE says that they reach desperate people, and if their nonsense is making an impact, what would the real Gospel from a caring heart do?

Last thought...everyone must stand at the judgment. You take away any excuse, as if they could muster one, by offering the Gospel. Their rejection is their own. Even the Sower dropped seed in non-harvestable places.

Sorry, Brother John, but the Bible was confiscated by George Mason University.

Seriously, though, does appear to be a mission field opportunity. I wonder if the Moderators on those sites would permit someone to offer the hope that we share in Christ?

Amen, Brother John.

A couple of months ago, Focus on the Family encouraged the children to take their Bibles to school on a particular day. I meantioned this to the group of youth I oversee. Being all homeschoolers in Christian families or attending a Christian school, Bibles were already there.

Remarkable how the mere presence of God's word leads to this kind of offense against God's Word.

We need to pray for all involved. Northern Virginia needs Christ in the worst way...almost as bad as I do.

Jim, the Moderators of SA have shown you great patience and tolerance in allowing you to share your non-Christian views and political rants. Folks may not agree because they have discernment, but we all uphold your right to speak your mind.

Bravo to these parents for standing up against the Critical Theory onslaught.

Our homeschool doesn't include this book either.

Brother John, I have not seen things on that level. But I have seen how the Lord works through diaconal service coupled with His Gospel to bring people to Himself.

In the couple's example, I would hope they are part of a fellowship of believers. If so, can some of those help out?

I understand fully where you are coming from on this. Yes, the government has deeper pockets than I do or whatever church we are a part of. But our Lord has even deeper yet. The cattle on a thousand hills are His. Where is faith in and from Him turned into love in action?

It is easy to pass by on the other side of the road and be grateful that the Lord has ordained the proper governmental authority to address some need. It is another to roll up one's sleaves and offer a hand out of the ditch and into an inn.

Indeed, Brother Tim, and Amen! This is crowd-sourced "truth's" finest hour! Finally they have thrown off that God and His precepts. Finally they are their own people!

Such strong delusions. Must be demonic.

Meanwhile, Psalm 2.

Might I add that Critical Theory & Intersectionality are key philosophical components and underpinnings to the Democratic/Progressive agenda?

So they have to crush free speech because their agenda, like their false personas, cannot handle being exposed to criticism. In fact, under CT, if one of us refuses to make active daily decisions to support anti-racism (as they define it), we are racists?

I heard a sermon this past Sunday that briefly described what is called the "psychological self." Apparently there is a growing trend in which people really believe that what they think of themselves is true, no matter what that is, and that idea of themselves takes over their human persona so that it is no longer those persons who live, but, in their minds, the idea of who they are. So if someone comes along and refuses to support this idea because it isn't actually true...say a girl thinks she's a boy...that is "hateful" to the point of murder. Expressions of truth like, "no, dear, God made you a girl, not a boy. You are confused," could pop that bubble and be described as utterly hateful because it kills that false persona. It almost sounds like demon possession.

It is but one strand of the tangled ball of socialism called Critical Theory and Intersectionality, I believe. It takes the Isaiah 59 society we live within to a whole new level.

Instead, the Lord transcends all these ridiculous concepts. He is the One who made us and not we ourselves (Psalm 100). That means truth may not be comfortable, but it is both true and stable. Jesus, being the Word, is true. And He is the Rock in which we can build our lives.

I appreciate the point you are making, Brother John. There are several aspects and Mrs. McC has attempted to explain it. I will also take a try. The church and the individual Christian has a responsibility to use the "talents" the Lord has given for the growth of His kingdom. We are responsible to Him for that, whether that be the cheerful sharing of financial wealth from a blessed harvest, a skill the Lord has developed, maybe time the Lord has granted.

Marxist, in their many forms, seek to do this thru government action, not cheerful giving. In doing so, they also cut off a key aspect...sharing the Gospel and disiciple making...from the relief process. Too often, that relief becomes a means of sustaining behavior that is not God honoring.

So, yes, you are quite correctly showing what the Lord says to each of us. But that is not the government's proper role to usurp the role of the church.
