Dear Adriel, Salvation has nothing to do with works (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5). But God holds everyone responsible for whether the believe on Him or not (John 3:18). Yes, the Holy Spirit must work in hearts, and He does (John 16:8). God must draw them (John 6:44), and He does (John 12:32). I'll end with this, 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
That's not Arminian, that's BIBLE! Revelation 22:17 says, "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." God's is so sovereign, that He has made man with a completely free will but His sovereignty is in no way violated!
You're right on Unprofitable Servant! You have stated a very sobering reality. If someone fails to put their trust in Christ, it's their fault, not God's. Let us pray let that the blinded eyes of the lost will be opened, and let us take every opportunity that God gives us to share the Gospel with them.
No one can be saved unless they believe the Gospel(John 3:18). And no one can believe the Gospel unless the hear the Gospel. And no one will hear the Gospel unless someone tells them. (Romans 10:14)
Some some governors have even tried to block plans of some churches to have drive-in services on Sunday, even though everybody will be staying in their cars.

Scripture certainly doesn't condemn it.the event is a fulfillment of prophecy, it is actually mentioned in the Bible. The Bible never condemns setting aside a day to remember great things that God has done. And actually encourages it.
Actually, its remembering Christ's entry into Jersalem one week before His Resurrection. Palm Sunday is in memory of that historical and very significant event.
Really folks, isn't this supposed to be a Christian forum? Didn't Christ say that men would know we are His disciples by the love we have for each other? I really think the devil laughs when he sees so many believers at each other's throats.
That is quite a misrepresentation of that passage! They are simply exercising their first amendment rights as Americans. We should not be so critical of those who are willing to take a little bit of a risk in order to do what they believe is right.
It's very easy to judge the motives of those we don't know. But it's not right. Not every pastor that wants to keep the church doors open is in it for the money. This church is just exercising their First Amendment rights. They actually took very impressive measures to keep those who attended safe.
