Col 2:16 so let no one judge you in food or in drink or regarding a feast day or a new moon or Sabbaths. This instruction was necessary at this time of transition from the old covenant to the new. Many Jewish Christians continued to keep the old covenant feast days, even though they didn’t have to. Paul is warning the Colossians not against the observances of these practices as such, but against "anyone" who passes judgment on how to eat, to drink, and to observe sacred times. Note should be taken of the fact that the judge who passes judgment is not Paul but Colossian false teachers who impose "regulations" (2:20) on how to observe these practices.
the reason why the day was changed is written down in history by the catholic church. the RCC changed the day to a Sunday and all who keep Sunday sabbath bow to the RCC.I hear so many different excuses to explain away why they keep Sunday sabbath and the simple reason is the RCC changed it and most of the world keep it.

I am not a SDA,nor a muslim,I was a catholic and i belive what the bible teaches and if the day was changed do you not think that the bible would state it without any doubt. Acts 2:4 says they met daily, not just in acts 27:1 and 1st cor 16:2. Gen 2:3 was the day that the Lord had made holy and sactified.
The christian sabbath did not start at the resurrection, it started in gen 2:2 and was again brought to attention in ex 20:8. Christians keep Sunday because the Rcc changed it in 321AD and few have challenged it since.
paisley condems what the pope says and makes his views very clear about the Rcc, yet he is as much a catholic as they are. when you keep their laws you are part of them. He keeps Sunday Sabbath and by doing this he bows to rome,s authority.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my previous comment. I was just upset at a number of things and needed somewhere to vent. I've really looked alot more into Alice Cooper now and I thought that he may have actually changed, but I guess not...
All I have to say is screw all you guys. Nobody is a perfect christian so you guys need to get off your high horse and realize you're not perfect either! And who are you to judge him anyways. I am a strong christian who is also very involved with secular music, but use it to minister to other guys my age. I've brought more people to Christ with my secular music and ministering than I ever would have by shoving a Bible down someone's throat. Just look at Jesus, he didn't hang out in the most wholesome places or associate with the best people, but he uses it to bring people to Christ. And also, why would he spend 3 million dollars on something that very much so supports christianity if he didn't believe in it himself. So next time...just try and think before saying something dumb.
Clearly this is deceptive. Identifiable names are necessary simply for the sake of truth in advertising. What do you think will happen when your local "Kingdom Hall" gets wind of this idea? We'll have Jehovah's Witness churches named "Grace Community". Or how about the "Latter Day Saints"? As soon as they catch on to this trend, we'll have "Centerpoint Church" which people won't realize is Mormon. At least the cults still have integrity enough to identify themselves...
