Since when did the people's vote count anyway? Research the electoral college. Find out why it started and how it is not needed anymore. It used to vote in favor for those in rural areas who couldn't get out to vote. Not the case anymore. But they still cast the most important vote. Could they possibly be bought out by the higher ups? The elite? Does anybody really believe Obama was voted in twice? Just something to consider while being apart of a two party system. So what does this have to do with scripture? Not much considering that all kings are appointed by God anyways says the Scripture. An unrepented nation will get what will fulfill the Scriptures. Amen?
What is the Lords reason behind this thorn? Is it to himble this nation as a whole? Is it to call the prideful to be humble? Whatever the reason the answer is that His grace is sufficient for His church. What might seem so bad that we need to resort to a fleshly rememedy. The reminder should be that The Lord is in total control and will not allow anything to happen that is outside His will. His grace is sufficient and His Will is perfect. Lord help us to cling to Your Word for all of the answers as we might need to be tried with fire in order to be made pure. To be a called out assembly for Your honor and glory!
Just remember. They will not get away with anything. Christ at the time of the Cross was well aware of the torment of hell and asked the Father to forgive those for they knew not what they were doing. If in hell they will never forget their wretchedness for eternity. So sad.
Steve R I guess it depends on if these people are being killed for the faith or just being killed? If a thug breaks in to a house and is put down verses a person coming to the house only to kill for the faith is two different things. One is self defense and the other is myrtardom.
