Mike, John MacArthur really doesn't have a better reason since there's an Internet to carry services. I have no problem if a church can find some way to keep the virus out. I would think that more churches in California could have outdoor services than many other places could? It has a dry heat, so if you aren't directly in the sun it's even comfortable outdoors. Time will tell if John can get away with it and not have a lot of people catch the covid-19 virus ‚ĚóūüĎé

You won't find me in any bars or churches until a good vaccine come out ‚Ěó ūüĎć

Thanks Mike! I can see now where he was coming from. They were the flowers and dancing around crowd that took marijuana and LSD.
They were also the crowd that picketed us when I came back from VN and called us baby killers.
I think of them this way; they were the seed of these riots.

Jim wants you to think today's left wingers are still the peace, love, and granola flower children of the sixties. Not the lunatics we see on the streets, nor the governors and mayors who justify their "peaceful protests."
Frank wrote: Tim, I agree with you and you said it perfectly. No woman should be in a position of leadership in this country. I don't care if she is the smartest and kindest person in the entire world; that is not a role that God assigned for women. The tolerance of the feminist movement has ruined our society.
If I could like this comment a thousand times, I would.
Jesus didn‚Äôt just ‚Äúmake propitiation.‚ÄĚ He IS propitiation. 1 John 2:2‚ÄĒAnd he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Word of God. Don‚Äôt you just love it?
Tim, The Gospel is also the 'righteousness of God' Romans 1:17, Paul said 'we preach Christ crucified' as well. If your gospel does not reveal the righteousness of God, you have not preached the true Gospel. Here are more verses, "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.-1 Cor. I am not interested in your whosoever jesus, the jesus of Arminianism/Roman Catholicism, I already know the Christ that came to redeem His sheep, that imputes His righteousness to His elect, that sanctified and justified His sheep, given to Him by the Father before the world began. The Christ that was obedient unto death, that made propitiation for the elect from every tribe, tongue and nation. The Christ that saves solely by sovereign grace, with no help from the sinner. The Christ that reveals I am helpless apart from Him. His robe of righteousness is mine
Well I can point out that jumble of letters that started with "t" was "that" you seem to maybe forgotten that person who stuck flower tank a barrel at Tiennian (so) was flower child ÔŅĹÔŅĹ. ūüĎćūüĎć :::::!
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 1   Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2   By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3   For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4   And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. There it is, Ladybug. The gospel, the whole gospel, and nothing but the gospel. This is the gospel Paul preached, the gospel I preach, and the only gospel that saves. Done here.
In doing so, Hunsaker Ryan said she has two goals: to increase diversity in the department’s workforce, which is almost 78% white, and make it easier for local community organizations that provide services to people of color to partner with the agency. She also plans to hire an equity and inclusion officer for the department, potentially by the end of August.
The above is from the article.
So now we are back to affirmative action mandates? Well if they want to do affirmative action, then they should include basketball and football.
People should be hired because of their skills and not because of the color of their skin.
"Marriage was God‚Äôs gift to a perfect world. He had said, ‚ÄėIt is not good that the man should be alone‚Äô, even when that man was without sin and living in holy communion with God. God in kindness saw fit to make a companion for Adam ‚Äď another human being, not identical to him, but corresponding to him. God said further: ‚ÄėI will make him an help meet for him‚Äô (Gen. 2:18) ‚Äď a help suitable for him. After a brief description of how Eve was formed, we are told: ‚ÄėTherefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh‚Äô (Gen. 2:24). This is the product of divine, not human wisdom." (K D MacLeod)

Sin blinds the sinner.
Those who cannot see cannot perceive truth.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."
John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them."
Tim, I think it's only fair you address your accusation instead of resorting to diversion and rabbit trails. Now, be a man and step up to the plate and prove your accusation, otherwise it becomes obvious your rant was little more than an unfounded opinion- which appears to be the case.
More on Billy Graham, "In an interview with McCall‚Äôs Magazine, Graham said: I‚Äôve found that my beliefs are essentially the same as those of orthodox Roman Catholics ... we differ on some matters of later church tradition‚ÄĚ (McCalls, January 1978)". This is why Rome embraced him, he preached the same gospel Rome preaches.
Graham appeared on the Phil Donahue show on October 11, 1979, and in discussing Pope Paul II‚Äôs visit to the U.S.A., said: ‚ÄúI think the American people are looking for a leader, a moral and spiritual leader that believes something. And the Pope does. He didn‚Äôt mince words on a single subject. As a matter of fact,ūüĎČ his subject in Boston was really an evangelistic address in which he asked the people to come to Christ, to give their lives to Christ. I said, ‚ÄėThank God, I‚Äôve got somebody to quote now with some real authority‚ÄôūüĎą‚ÄĚ (The Gospel Standard, Feb. 1986).
Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;"
One blood. One father - Adam. One race.
1Cor 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."
