Jim, understand that what is in the news is there for a purpose—generally to reflect the ideology of the reporter. But the telling phrase is in your post: “...mainly because he wants a future in academia...” When you have a system that pushes you to define your politics a certain way in order to have education or advancement—that is the problem. (And , unfortunately, where the US is heading.) Just saying.
So, devils advocate… And I know this is going to cause some kickback amongst those that believe that “Christians should just watch and pray and not do anything…“ if you really think about it, this could be us in a few years. By the time this Marxist government comes into power… Which it will eventually come into full power… American Christians will be the ones protesting for their rights as American citizens… not this illegal store looting, property destroying, mafia thug mentality we are seeing with this group… but similar to our revolutionary founders of our country… Who fight for their rights… Maybe it would be a good idea for Christians to take a hard look at the tactics of the enemy… Because, we might need them coming soon…
Jim. Why is there an anonymous federal presence? Is it because the agents are evil? Are they kidnapping and waterboarding protesters? Or is it because ANTIFA has ensured that the agents are Doxed and have people lashing out at the families of the agents while they are serving? If I was in charge, I would have the personnel under my command hide their name tags as well. (Of course, here in good old Missouri, we have less ANTIFA presence—even liberal Democrat lawyers have their guns out protecting their homes. Lol)
Esaú repented to tears. No salvation Judas repented to fixing his sin. No salvation. ”...repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,” (Hebrews 6:1) you can’t just turn from your sins, you have to turn to God.
OK… I guess I’m just ignorant of what it is like to live in other parts of the nation… My average water bill is about $40 a month… I have a difficult time fathoming the idea that even if my bill tripled that I would be struggling to pay for water… so I read this, and my first question is… How much is water in the rest of the nation?
She has enough money. What’s funny is that all of the actors are right in there against her… They don’t have enough money yet to feel they can stop trying to be socially relevant.
The sad fact is, most Christians have deluded themselves into believing that the Constitution was written to guarantee a Christian nation. It wasn’t. It was written to guarantee religious freedom. However, they could not give religious freedom and give preference to any single group lest eventually a differing group gains too much power. This is why they were absolutely correct to remove teacher led prayer from Public schools. Oh, we want that when the teacher is a Christian… But how many of you all would enjoy it if your child’s teacher was a Muslim leading the class in a prayer to Allah? or a Satanist, leaving the kids in prayer to Satan… (Which they kind of already are but that’s another point to be made.) In the same way, protections are deliberately vague—And while those of us with common sense agree that homosexuality and transgender is him or destructive horrible lifestyles that are anti-God at their core… The fact is, they are still people with a right to self-determination and should not be targeted. Even if that determination is taking them straight to hell. No, as far as the argument of making employers hire them and deal with their stupidity.... I think employer should be able to hire anyone they want to fire anyone they want. But again, that’s a argument f
What Christians need to remember is that while the United States is one of the greatest secular nations on earth… It is just a kingdom of earth. The Constitution gives broad protections to all… And that includes things we don’t like. For instance: It gives religious freedom to the Satanic temple, atheism, and false Christianity. In this case, while we vehemently disagree with transgendeism and homosexuality, the constitution does give the same protection for them as well as us. Do not confuse the United States with Heaven
Well… From a statistical standpoint you see that there are a lot of white females because there’s a lot of interracial dating in today’s society… many black men have abandoned having a black female because they are usually more self assertive— White women tend to be more docile, controllable, will accept abuse, and will work while they sit around and smoke dope and play Xbox.
The problem is, the rioters are confusing this with Christianity. People need to understand is that Christ died to give them the gift of eternal life. George Floyd didn’t die so they could have a new TV.
So, my understanding is that 501c3 is more than just allowing givers to write off their donations—I believe it also exempts Churches from property tax. Can you imagine what the property tax bill for your average CC Church would look like?
Wow! A tad judgmental from a few thousand miles away. I’d roll my eyes, but don’t know how to do the emoji thing. The fight for Virginia will be at the Virginia ballot box—not Missouri’s. Just saying.
Interesting how the article paints the picture that they were still meeting. Well, (sadly,) it doesn’t matter what the real story is. What matters is that they have become an epicenter for contagion. It’ll be spun against the Church regardless. This will be one of the media stories that incite persecution of Christians in the US. (Of course, that is generally when we become the most effective—it is only under persecution that the early Church moves out of Jerusalem....) Just saying.
