“ Great Sermon! ” This is such enlightened teaching! I really appreciate your gentle, thoughtful, nuanced approach to evangelism. My family was not in a cult, but we were evangelized by a reformed church, and brought in as a trophy family in a new work. There was no attempt made to really know us, and when the church failed after 8 years, the “love” for us ended. The deep fellowship held out as an enticement never came to fruition, and we have realized over the years since just how much we were treated as Christians of a lower order. But God used all of that for our good! It is an encouragement to know that someone gets it.
“ Great Sermon! ” I love this depth of teaching. I am moved to add that the believer, the neighbor, the Image bearer, that God has placed in front of us at any given time is also worthy of our sanctified imagining of the struggles they have, and the story of their life. We can’t understand their life perfectly, but we can offer that interest and care up to Christ, and He will use it. If we are going to love them as Christ commanded, we should show interest in them and the biographies of their lives, for God is at work there.
The ability to discriminate is a God given right. When we are not allowed to do, then good and evil are on the same level. This should be plainly seen by any Christian.
I do not know why the UA did what it did, but it really makes me happy. Men like Hugh Culverhouse (should have his mouth washed out with lye soap) is another rich man who is comfortable with murder. Maybe God will allow the South to rise again.
What has climate change to do with several hundred Black thugs causing mayhem in the streets of Chicago. What does a PBS program have to do with this bunch of thugs? BTW Jim Yankee Reconstruction Did not rebuild the South. It just continued the Robbery, and murder. Henry louis Gates, is a race hustler. Anyone that believes Reconstruction in the South was good is insane.
The protest was organized by a silly woman. Photos showed mostly females holding signs. This protest promotes unconditional love, that means you love the good and the bad together; that’s not a Christian doctrine. Liberty university is not a Christian school, Christian don’t promote sodomy, do they? This is just my opinion the, the church is the root of the problem.
Jim Lincoln, nowhere in the federal constitution is secession mentioned. Scalia was full of himself. Secession was how the United States began, the Declaration of Independence is a secession document. The South was forced back into your bloody union at gun point. Force jimmy boy just force. Since that time Yankees like you have destroyed the Constitution. In the 1960’s Yankees forced the Civil rights act of 64 the voting right act and immigration act of 1965. The South resisted we lost again. The evil that goes on in this country is because of you smart Yankees. Even you Lincoln can google the facts. But hey just blame confederates.

Neil, neither Lincoln nor any of his administration were in negotiations with the South. H never ever planed to negotiate. He had to have war,Southern money had to be kept. If he had allowed the South to leave in peace the South might have returned to the union. But the Republican Party would have driven hin from office or killed him as they most probably did in 65. Jim, the gettesburg speech had nothing to do with freedom. It was at best a pretty little lie. If the North wanted freedom all they had to do was stop attacking us. You and Neil and many like you make it so clear why the Old South wanted separation from the North. You are the most self-righteous people I know of . Neil, you are correct in one thing South Carolina did fire on Ft. Sumpter. No Southerner I have ever known has said different. Now as Paul Harvey said now for the rest of the story. The confederate government sent a peace commission to Washington to meet with Lincoln to prevent a war. Lincoln put them off for weeks while he planned the resupply of sumpter and ft Pickens in Florida. When he finally met with them his fleet had already departed. The commission then learned what Lincoln had done. To make this short the information was relayed to S.C. Major Anderson at fort Sumpter was ask to surrender with full honors. He did not. That is how the war started.
Neil, you bear false witness again. Where ie your proof that you love truth more than anyone in the South. You claim to be Christian yet you claim to be more perfect than any Southerner, black or white. Perfection is an attribute of God. Why do you hate us so much? Is it because we are not like.
Neil, you make the same childish argument made by all leftest. Why did Lincoln attack the South? you believe that you somehow have the height ground by attacking slavery. Well slavery ended in the self-righteous north at the same time it did in the South, with the 13th amend. The creator God established slavery and gave rules for its conduct. God is not the author of sin. But you and many others say he is. You and many just like you filled with hate for the white South. Jesus Christ described you in detail, on the outside you are clean and nice but on the inside you are full of rotted bones.
Slavery was not the main cause of that war. If the South had remained in the Union it could have maintained slavery until at least the 20th century. As for the North beating the South with one hand tied behind its back, is comic book history. it took them 4 hard years to do the job. Lincoln imported over a half million men from Europe to help the great yankee army. Today the custom of all to many Americans is to curse the the Old South. A prime example is Tim the cotton picker. For those of you that curse us, God has a reward for you.
