How do we combat that? How did it get this bad? I tend to believe the industrial revolution played a huge role. It took fathers away from the farm so mothers had to pick up the slack which led to a disgruntled attitude and feminism was born. Self sustainability died off and other rabbit trails followed. Progress brought regress. Perhaps that's all straw grasping.....
They once created the building blocks of life and deemed God obselote and fictional. Completely ignoring the fact that the material they used to create the building blocks of life were not created by them, in other words they used material already created to create something new. They also didn't admit that though they created the building block an actual life force was not present. I can build a frame to a house but without finishing it and putting a family in there it's just an empty box. Life blocks without a soul is not life of a person. I tend to think that's where this science will lead us even further. An attempt to justify an unjust removal of God from the equation.
Mike, I'm reading this with a cup of coffee in hand. Haha.
Other good options that are cheap but not free are: Life of Fred (buy one or two books at a time), Dance with Numbers by Jack Nickles, Wild Math, Exploring Nature with Children, King of Honours (first book completely free on Facebook.) Youtube covers art and music. Best bet is to take a portion of your income tax and use that for homeschooling.
3 times a charm on commenting. Ambleside Online is a good option. Most of their books are free online or easily found at a library. You can build your own curriculum using living books. Build your own library fairly chepaly uaing thriftbooks, garage sales, thrift stores, ebay, and the likes..
Chris, it really is sad. There are exemptions in my state for those under 10 but all children, as young as 2, are still wearing them. Even in school. It's not my new normal. It's not normal. Masks, despite their facial coverage, have brought out the ugly in people. It's obvious who would participate in a witch hunt complete with pitchforks. Compliance enables it to continue so all the masked grumblers are equivalent to the sideline watchers. Perhaps they don't take part in it per se but they're there and they're not stepping in to stop it. Maybe more people will stand up to tjis nonsense but I highly doubt that.
Romans13 is the scapegoat for "obey all authority." The Dutch that hid Jews are in violation of Romans13 under that argument. It was not their place to question unsound policies. They're one example of many that dared to question things yet some would paint them as unbiblical while thumping then on the head with Romans 13.
Render unto Caesar what is Caesar. My body does not belong to him therefore I will wear a mask because I desire to do so or I won't wear a mask because I desire not to. Caesar has no say. Hills become mountains. Give an inch they take a mile.
