Jim, this will "probably" be my last comment but once in a blue moon, I browse s.a. news to keep in touch with Christian current events. Expecting our 10th. grandchild now, time is of the essence.A pastor's opinion. Would be - sin's dominion. Though there's a curse. Things still get worse. Though time does rehearse. The body and the purse. Lawless disorder. History's recorder. |

Tim F., you stated that the U.S.A. spends more than the rest of the world on its military. First of all, I do not know how anyone could possibly come up with that information accurately. Even if it is true, then maybe we should be thankful for the times when the most powerful nation in the world, is asked by smaller countries, eg., (Kuwait, when, Iraq and Saddam, wanted to annex it by force)to help in it's defense! BTW, if the U.S.A. Defense is only 20% of the budget and is more money than the entire worlds military spending and the so-called Entitlements (Medicare/Medicaid, Unemployment Insurance and Social Security), equal about 45% of the US budget, then we just might be spending more than 100% than the entire world on socialism! |

7/25 post, continued:Temporary madness. Brings permanent sadness. Unemployment, Keynes fixed??? Unemployment, Keynes nixed. With taxes, you must send. So, the libs can spend, spend. The more that you will make. The more that they will take. If you are a success. For certain, they'll oppress. Unemployment skyrockets. From us, the gov still pockets. Coming a big holler. Valueless, the dollar. Not worth the printed paper. Roused to Keynes grand caper. Libs economic god. Turned out to be a fraud. Spend, with no end in sight. We've hit the end, now night. Bush, Obama, Gordon Brown. Failed Keynesian renown. What these elite don't know. Should listen to John Doe. Fiscal advice that's hot. "Don't spend, what you AIN'T got!" |

Now, will people make room? For the prophets of doom! Horizon is looming. Prophets are dooming. The good news, we do love. Our banner - a dove. You're so negative. Now just let me live. A reality check. Less value in your check. We're also, in debt. Good news, helps forget. Government overspent. Collapse is imminent. So many defections. No help with elections. I pity the next fellow. If he is yellow. Common sense leader. Is no debt breeder. Congress, year to year. Has turned a deaf ear. How many voices. Say there's two choices. Further increase debt. The future - forget! Go into default. On wound - throw some salt. Insane - the former. Latter - performer. Keynesian curse. Depression ends up worse! Economy bettered??? Don't mind being fettered! What the norm, should reject. The norm, now does expect. A dependent nation. Assumes, annual inflation. Liberal revolution. Polluted solution. Economics unsound. Free-markets - are bound. Unwilling donor. Every landowner (cont.) |

Jim, I did not have time to read the entire link on the little school but noticed the Hbg. Farm Show Building at the beginning. We have been attending there for the past two decades. The convention in phenomenal and all should attend at least once, homeschool or non homeschooled. Jim, I have a good read(I have recently purchased)for you, that is probably still available over the net: "God and Politics - Four Views on the Reformation of Civil Government. Theonomy, Principled Pluralism, Christian America and National Confessionalism." This book has evolved from a conference to "challenge the evangelical Christian community, and especially Reformed Christians, to think about what implications Christ's lordship held for civil government." "The purpose of the consultation was to clarify areas of agreement and divergence among Reformed Christians in order to achieve consensus where possible, to promote further discussion of differences." |
