Concerning the text given by Lalia,"2Thes2:11" ... look at verse 8-10, especially 10. 2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of he truth, that they might be saved. In order for that verse to apply to JD, he would have to be lost and currently being decieved by the antichrist. Quite an accusation Lalia. |

He broke the law, period. I like Hovind, but he broke the law. In truth, the guy can't get thruogh Genesis 1 without offering some sort of "correction", but the stuff on evolution that he did is really interesting. I have his complete set on DVD (creation science material, debates, and topical studies), like I said, I like the guy. But guess what, I, (yes me) got a speeding ticket two years ago. What did I do? I paid the fine. I went to traffic school. I told the men at the jail where I preach my mistake. If you break the law, you must pay the penalty. Now, to further that. Is his penalty harder than that it should be? Possibly. It is either that his penalty is harder than it should be, or it is that no other criminal's penalty is AS hard as it should be. I minister at the jail every week. We get men in there that get 22 months for selling and manufacturing meth. We get men that get 2 years for molesting children. We get repeat DUI offenders who get 3 days. You get my point right? He broke the law, so he should serve. But what of the men who have done much worse?!? They get less time. Yes our judicial system is corrupt. It is run by a bunch of sinners, what do you expect? |

Amen DavidEven though I grew up in a home where everything was far from perfect and my mother and step-father seldom darkened the doorway of any church, I was always sure there would be a firm hand to correct me. As a result of this, and the grace of God, I have never touched a single drug, drop of alcohol, or spent a moment in jail or prison (other than ministering there!). I even went so far as to thank my step-father for the dealings he did give me and let him know I deserved far more than I recieved and would probably be in even better shape today if I would have got them! Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. If only he had not spared so much! Might I then have less foolishness and more wisdom!! |
