US, I don't know if this adds anything to the conversation.... ]]amazon, book sale, case for historic premillenial Full title: "A Case for Historic Premillenialism: An Alternative to 'Left Behind' Eschatology" I have not read the book, just found the link to share the contrast. I tend to be more amill in perspective however. John UK had a great point, about first drawing understanding from scripture itself with the help of the Holy Spirit. |

John for JESUS wrote: I don't accuse people of stuff usually and was only trying to get to the core of his view that Jewish believers are not being saved yet. JforJ, Jewish people who do not accept Christ are not saved.... and Peter said to the Jews that were his peers at the time, Jesus whom you crucified. So why would a Christian be jealous? This leads the Christian to concern, because the Christian has been given the obligation of the gospel. You must understand this mindset, it is at the very heart of an evangelist -- even that towards Lurker, who you are willing to call names without any warrant, now you say "just to see" if he might have negative feelings. What is glaringly obvious, is that you are more concerned with silencing believers than you are in coming up with ideas as to how to bring the message of salvation to a people lost in sin (like all peoples). Its the age old problem of sin. If you raise a people up above their sin, you are creating an idol, evidenced by a loss of love for the brethren. I know you will not listen to the link regarding "are you a jew", but it is a good teaching and has many new testament references. This subject is not as muddy as many make it out to be. |

JforJ,Peter says this in his plea to the Jews of that time, his peers, "Jesus whom you crucified..." -- this is very clear. So the Jews of that time were guilty because of their false religion. we also know that Jesus died for us while we were still his enemies. Which means to me that all sons of Adam are inherently enemies of God because of sin, and therefore we are also guilty of his death, being his enemies, and his death being our reconciliation. and anyone who plainly reads that and understands that some Jews followed a false religion that crucified Christ and some followed the true religion of Christ their Messiah, that this is something diabolical? or is the truth just inconvenient and so you will attribute hate to those you do not even know? "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole." Acts 4:10 We have bad fruit and good fruit coming out of Jerusalem. We had the Pharasees and their abuse of the law and we have Jesus Christ and His first followers who were Jews. Race isn't the issue even if you demand that it is. The Christian has nothing to be jealous of! |

Mark 12:28-34 NASB Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'Hear , O Israel! T he Lord our God is one Lord ; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." The scribe said to Him, "Right, Teacher; You have truly stated that He is One , and there is no one else besides Him ; and to love Him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as himself, is much more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices." When Jesus saw that he had answered intelligently, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God."exactly. they would have entered the Kingdom of God if they loved God and neighbor, not when in the future they entered the temple. Jesus was inaugurating a Kingdom had by spiritual redemption. and they "weren't far" because God was giving them understanding.... but to be in this Kingdom they would need to be regenerated, because God's law has to be written on a man's heart, he must be born again. And this has always been the work of God. |

no doubt, God is grieved when a child is assaulted. God does not design for that to happen.God is not manifested by a garbage dump. Man's sin is manifested that we may be witness to our own evil. And death has to come to all man because we've fallen short of the glory of God. The evidence of the fall is all around us. But when one broken vessel is pulled out of the miry clay, even one who has been assaulted by the world, then he or she gives glory to God and God is manifested. We are born in sin, yet Christ saves and redeems everyday, God is even glorified through the pagan when he lives out the law, as can happen partially, for instance in a peaceful marriage where children are loved. God is glorified by what He has made. This is a reflection of God's design. But he did not make sin. |

either individuals have rights or corporations. Jim, you are pushing for corporate identity (as was Romney, making both parties nearly identical) and collectivism and then the great leader gets to decide what their behavior is. many would like to go back to having a say in our own lives. there's a great big world out there and more to "choose" from than the one or two choices that corporations widdle things down to... ie if I have cancer, and if I saw someone use baking soda treatments and voila, its gone (breast cancer), but then you come to me and say you must have insurance and now you can have chemo or you can just say no to chemo, and I'm thinking, in God's great world, my only options is chemical warfare agents from WWI or nothing? come on now. or like, well you can't have treatment because you hit the age limit, so would you like us to euthanize you or send you home? questions like that, you know, that make you go "hmmm". its a contrived reality. |

Strat wrote: So much ignorance its hard to know where to begin,if you were not such a judgmental hypocrite you would know that rock stars are people to and just as worthy of consideration as the likes of you....you will receive your just reward for your hatred of God's people. I love it when one of you who is always accusing others of things slips up and shows who you realy are, full of just as much hatred and contempt as anyone you could ever accuse of those things. Strat, you mentioned God's people. I am one of them, an ambassador of Jesus Christ, saved by the blood of the Lamb, do I get a voice to be heard, how about the others here too that were given a new nature, were born again and given the Holy Spirit as a promise, do we have a say in anything? I'm just curious at this point, are you telling us that the Talmud that teaches all sorts of atrocities is not a false religion? and the kabbal? what religion are you trying to make us anyway? |
