Christiana,

Maybe so in our finite, have to know all, have to accomplish all minds but not so with the Lord. The postmodern world mindset deals in relative truth and the modern evangelical church has been effected. We must deal in absolute truths trusting the Lord and His Word for the outcome, resting in Him. If that means judgement than so be it. The ends justifies the means and the lesser of two evils is not a righteous vote but simply our failed reasoning trying to effect good.

Christiana,

Is it ever a duty for a responsible Christian to vote no or write-in in regards to a political choice?

Christiana,

First, we must submit to the Word of God.
Also, we must ask ourselves if our convictions are of the flesh or of the Word? Mr. Einwechter used Biblical commentary to support his view. Can you supply Biblical support in rebuttal?

Overcomer,

Amen. Every one who believes Christians should be active in whatever pursuit God has placed them is not necessarily a dominion theologist. In todays Biblical evangelical realm we love to talk faith but not to practice it. Rationalism has invaded the church. Will there be any faith when Christ returns? There is definite metaphorical language in Psalm 127 and the man is not only a warrior for the Lord but is a mighty warrior because the beloved is a faithful man with the Lord building the house. We are in a spiritual battle but nevertheless we are now on an earthly plane to be salt and witnesses for Christ and in trusting Him for our family there indeed will be more of a Christian witness who may speak with our skeptical enemies in the justice gate of this world. We indeed must be charitable towards others whom the Lord has not opened the womb in His providence.

To those who may have tendencies towards the Roman cultish views you may find the truth concerning the word, "kecharitomene", with a perusal of the article by Dr. James White: Alpha & Omega
Ministries Apologetic Blog, "Notorious James White: Dirty Debater".

As for the ridiculous, unbiblical notion that Jesus Christ, the perfect God/man, shared his high redeemer's role with a mere human being(Mary), Hebrews tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ "HIMSELF purged us from our sins."

Matthias Pittman,

JOHN chapter 3.

"In 1965 Lennon himself reached rock bottom when he referred to our Lord as "a garlic eating stinking little yellow greasy fascist basXXXX Catholic Spaniard," and the trinity as "Fahter, Sock and Mickey Most."
Direct quote from an aricle, "CHRISTIAN ROCK, A Strategem of Mephistopheles", by Dr. David Nobel, Director of Summit Ministries.

Tony Borrelli,

Amen! I have a saying next to my desk from "Israel My Glory", which says,
"It is never right to do wrong to do right." This is the old evil - the ends determine the means. Our God is a holy God who never wavers and neither should we. Do not call wickedness good. We need to vote absolutely in terms of Biblical morality and if that means a no vote then so be it. We must be content with the future whatever it may hold. God is in control however we must unequivically make a stand for righteousness and rest in Him.

John Yurich,

With the Last Rights and all of the other foolish, unbiblical Romish dogma
one must believe what the Pope confessed with his own mouth while alive, hopelessly clinging to the unbiblical merits of the saints and mary because of the anti-biblical doctrine that says that the life and death of Jesus Christ was not sufficient!!!

Amen. I do not consider myself aligned to any political party but cannot vote for any candidate that is not against abortion or homosexuality without reservation, which at least most of the republican candidates have stood against.

GG,

I believe with the Council of Trent this was the first time that there was an official consensus with Rome on the canon of Scripture.

The individual that providentially was led to give me the gospel may be referred to as my spiritual father but I do not address him as such in an exalted manner but according to his given name. Only God, do I address as my spiritual Father.

Do you address mere men as your spiritual Father with great reverence as holier than thou(father priests, saints and popes)?

The Lord knew how mankind had a tendency to elevate others spiritually, leading to one being designated enen as "The Holy Father"!
Great blasphemy!

BTW I do receive a fathers day card but not in a religious, exalted way of obeisance.

Ah, GG, here we go again.

The first time the Apocrypha was officially considered as Holy Scripture was when the Roman cult "ADDED" them to the Bible "AFTER" the reformation so they could further deceive their adherents, who were not allowed to personally interpret the Bible.
Do you and other Roman adherents "address" mere men as their spiritual fathers? They do this although Jesus condemned this practice as well as no spiritual authority to do so. Paul nor any of the apostles were ever "addressed" in a spiritually exalted way of worship.

Ah, GG, the magisterium is wrong again.

Show me one place in Scripture where any believer called the apostle Paul, "Father"? Paul also referred to himself as the Chief of sinners, never accepting exalted titles of worship such as "His Holiness". Any man that refers to another mere man as "Father" in a spiritual sense commits blasphemy.

The lewd and sinister history of the popes and the Jesuits is only too well known.

The Grand Masquerade.
Full of guile and deceit.
This world's riches seem sweet.

Roman popes have been lewd.
Jesuits very shrewd.

Open eyes - closely zoomed.
Rome's hierarchy is DOOMED!

Like their father.
Deceit is their fodder.

"And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."

John Yurich,

On the "Truths That Transform" website
(D.J.Kennedy)you will find,"Character of the Cults", by Patrick Zukeran. Paraphrased for space limits.

Doctrinal Character of the Cults:
1.False teaching on the nature of God.
2.False view of Jesus.
3.False teaching on salvation-ALL cults have a works-oriented gospel.
4.Extra-Biblical revelation and the denial of the sole authority of the Bible.

Socilolgical Structure of the Cults:
1.Authoritarianism-the words of the leadership are ultimate and often considered divinely inspired.
2.Elitist mentality.
3.Isolationism.
4.Discouragement of individual thinking-LEADERS ARE THE ONLY ONES THOUGHT TO BE ABLE TO PROPERLY INTERPRET THE BIBLE!
5.Legalistic lifestyle.
6.Difficult exit process-since salvation is found in the organization
leaving the organization is considered by many to be leaving God.

Pastor Slattery,

Greetings! You are "right on", especially in regards to the word, ADORE!!!

GG, Lance and a few others have been shown the many errors of the papacy, including 841 of the CCC, for a while now. I myself had made a statement as far back as, 7/4/07, "Archdiocese offering plenary indulgences",(CCC, 1994, pp. 223, 841)but God has to open their eyes the same way He opened ours.
Michael Hranek, especially has been faithful and relentless in this pursuit. Rome writes such unnecessary, careless and blasphemous words in its catechism because absent of the Spirit of God, there is no light in it.
JOHN 12:40, 46, "He has blinded their eyes, and He hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, and be converted, and I heal them."
"I have come as light into the world, that everyone who believes in me may not remain in darkness."

Muslims DO NOT adore the same creator God of the Bible:
