Mike wrote: Or worse, harrumphing any harrumphing we do here at SA should be based factually at least, good point.and in the case you mention, when the state legislature and the people vote to protect marriage and one judge overturns law (not in their jurisdiction), then it would be factually inaccurate to say that the people did this. it would be the judge. however, if you have people who slam anyone who tries to point out the legal situation, that in fact, sanctity of marriage has not been overturned in the lawful sense, and yet people still demand that it has happened as such, who cares what the people voted? well, then they too are with the judge. what I am saying is that those who side with the sodomites on these issues are not credible, no matter the cloak they wear. in a time when it is in vogue to slam Christians for the biblical standard, not impressed by those who do. its just going along with the spirit of the age. |

Freely Speaking wrote: Why do most judges tell you that you may consider "only the facts" -- that you are not to let your conscience, opinion of the law, or the motives of the defendant affect your decision? good question....an educated citizenry will already know this. we are obliged to pass down this information to one another. yes a jury can nullify a charge. God has provided in this rep the ability of the common believer to have an effect for good, and is in fact obligated to do so. we have some free riders among us in society who will not participate when they are fully capable, yet curse the nation for the lack of Christian influence. which is akin to a man who curses a hole in the ground that he must repeatedly trip over, when there is a shovel and a pile of dirt right there to fill it back in. |

Mike wrote: Anyone actually concerned over the issue of being told who you must hire, please raise your hand me.its a commnst sweep. and we aren't teaching the youth a framework as to what is going on. these things have happened before during bolshevics and such, if Christianity does not define roles of male and female, then it is the state, and that is what is being created. state is god. and nothing exists unless state tells you it exists. you have any thoughts on the topic? |

no way.to participate in the religion is their domination. its not the Christian construct. in our faith all come by invitation willingly. its coercion. I have one Lord and that is Jesus Christ. There will be no other. I pray for the weak atheist who has not Christ to strengthen him for spiritual battle. |

In case you did not notice wrote: it is a song about His earthly rule after His second coming, a little surprised pennned posted it. Also, He could not have died and rose again if He hadn't come to earth as baby, so they would not have happened if He was not incarnated. It is not an insignificant event as you make it out to be. ah yes, the earth groaning for His return. that would be the Great Judgement with the Resurrection and the "making of all things new", the curse no longer being found --- the sting of death GONE FOREVER, the last thing to be conquered by King Jesus allelulia! which would be the new heaven and new earth. |
