I lived in west africa when i was younger..i had many fulani friends...they r as human as Anybody else...my guess us is that it was a skirmish between two tribes...rather amthan a religous one...i dont know, but i saw that happen. They are a picked on people and have firey tempers....lots of them are mobile so it doesnt take much for them to pack up and leave....i saw it happen that when someone crosses them they retaliate fiercely ....and then move on.. lets pray for all involved. Chances are that the 'christians' salvation as bad as they do.
I believe our time to laugh will come later....right now we need to work. Most true christians who are actually doing what God intended are close to burn out while the rest of the church looks on.............
Ok,....i agree with your comment on the rod. Thats scriptural... my children know i believe in it....burmt you were referring to students being 'slammed about' . That sounds like anger......
Sorry, but that still didnt answer my question... How does the fact that when your father was in schoo, that students got slammed about make it Christlike
The Bible does say in 1 Timothy that a woman shouldn't teach or usurp the men..... it also says in Corinthians that if their head isn't covered while they are praying or prophesying she is dishonoring her head
KJV actually says custom.... not customs.... what if it was put in there because God knew in the 1800-1900's people would stop dressing modestly and stop wearing coverings and he knew there would be contention about it... why would he spend several verses explaining about why u should wear a covering and then say' oh never mind after sll.'
In response to s taylor... I agree with you, which is why I wear pants... my wife wears a skirt and a head covering.... 100 years ago it wouldn't have been wierd.... but now it is... And it's not the Bible that has changed.
