No Penny you misunderstood me. Nothing wrong with being involved. But at the same time we cant expect a bible believing christian to win votes, not without a miracle. He would speak against sin-sodomites, abortions, feminism, etc. Exposing darkness. But I wouldnt discourage him from running. He'd get some biblical truth out there.

Taking a stand for a young earth is great but unfortunatly a lot of young earthers jump ship when you start talking about geocentricity.

JY, you sound real selfish. Tour salvation consits of what you did (I said a prayer) not what Christ did (He saved a wretch like me! Rescued me from sin! Set me free). You put your trust in man (my brother, my niece and nephew) and not Jesus Christ (repent and believe the Gospel-that includes repenting of taking part in a satanic religion). You dont feel comfortoable in a certain kind of worship so you wont go else where. Forgt the fact that your worship smells like dung to Christ and that He says to take up the cross and follow Him. It's all about John Y not Jesus. You sir need to repent of your selfishness and your pride. You sir need to repent and believ the Gospel.

To the brethren, reading through this forum I can see your fustation. It's like banging your head against a wall. Just want to encourage yall to continue fighting thw good fight-not for John Y's sake but for the sake of Christ and His holy name and for silent readers.

Pass over typos. Dont have time to fix em'.

To your comment D Betford I would add that making breastfeeding something to be looked down on has led to an increase in breast cancer. God has designed things an amazing way. A woman doesnt need a can to feed her baby (a majority of the time).

Christopher writes: " spinning perfectly to support life "

Have you ever looked into geocentricity? It's intetesting what Scripture has to say on the topic  With your love of creationism I think the study would be up your ally. I know my view is in the minority but it's the conclusions I've come to after reading Scripture.

Dorcas, Ah the howdy! It's the slippery slope to saying "yall"

All is well on my end. By the end of the day I'm worn flat out but that is to be expected. The mission field the Lord has given me is full of energy. His grace is sufficient.

Pray all is well on your end. Still rejoicing wirh yall (there it is!) Over the return of a prodigal. God is good!

Elmer, from another comment you have posted I now see where you're coming from. There are actual deaths but you do have to wonder if the numbers being reported are being blown out of proportion. Think the new slogan "Ebola is real?!" Until more is known it's best to be cautious.

Ben, excellent Psalm. But at the same time we're not to sit around twiddling our thumbs.

Lets live in lala land and assume a pandemic could never happen to us because we're America. You know ,we got all the nifty health equipment. We're so far ahead that we treat cancer with radiation which causes cancer. Genius!!! Im not saying that ebola will be a pandemic. My point is that this was a reasonable reaction-nothig wrong with being cautious.

So believing in a young earth is unscientific? Ah well you better start praying for salavation since virgins becoming pregnant is also unscientific. If you doubt one part of God's word it leads to trouble. Some things are taken on faith. As the Lord asked Job in 38:4 "where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?"

Do we really have a rights to worship God in the style we prefer?! CCM is just satanic rock with a "christian" label thrown on it. This arguement reminds me of what Victoria Olsen said (paraphrased) "we go to church for ourselves."
