Great Sermon! Thankyou H Hudson for highlighting this sermon - I have been under quite some considerable spiritual attack and had asked The Lord for a word first thing this morning and felt led to listen to this teaching and it was spot on biblical teaching. Maybe one of the best I have heard on this. |

Great Sermon! Such a wonderful sermon and totally where it's at. I had today received an invite to attend a church function on the subject of patenting ( psychology ) and just as Dr Tozer says - regarding the modern church losing it's ability to walk in the spirit. Totally spot on sermon. |

Great Sermon! Have been really studying this doctrine of cessationism - and concluded that I disagree and am a perpetuist. Saying that, I have been shocked by the degree that people appear to disagree on this subject .
This sermon is pretty much one of the best on this issue. Maybe a subject that if we have not been to bible college we wouldn't have realised there was a big issue.
As Tozer says too many churches are built with business acumen, psychology and other natural talents. |

Great Sermon! Spot on must remember this scripture :
13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
And agree totally that there are many churches that depend upon talent and not the Holy Spirit.

When I hear of this I always think of this prophecy ? Rev 17 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. |

Great Sermon! Having had a great deal of searching regarding whether spiritual gifts are continuing or finished- I had mostly taken the cessationist view on superficial study. But was aware that many very mature and otherwise faithful Christians still appear to speak in tongues. After listening to many sermons on the subject I had to conclude that the gift of tongues and the other spiritual gifts had not stopped with the early church and that they were in fact still very much in operation and they were being blessed by a righteous God.
So I was very blessed to hear pastor reidhead preach on the subject and come to the same conclusion. Such a breath of fresh spiritual air. |

Great Sermon! But this verse is never quoted ?
1 cor 14
2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. |
