There were a couple of replies to the article which were very satisfactory in answering this fellow's proposition. Physical attendance should be the norm and virtual attendance only when the person can't come physically to a church group.
Well Jim, if you really believed that, you wouldn’t support governors who arbitrarily decide who can and can’t come physically to a church group, something that is well above their pay grade.

When I was a teenager I used to drive my first car way down dirt roads until they became mere rugged paths in the woods, and then keep on going as far as I possibly could. At the end of one such path was a sign with one word on it: “No.” That is exactly what the Democrats envision for freedom-loving Americans: a dead-end path where the answer to every request for “privileges” (rights have already been taken away) will be “no.”
Why do Americans need ask Democrats or anyone else for what Is already theirs by birthright? It’s for the people to say no to the criminals.

The economy was doing just fine until covid 19 came along and people like creepy Joe and his media partners used it for selfish political purposes, and are still using it.

I don't know about singing at church going but Dr. Fauci had a short video about the dangers of traveling for Thanksgiving❗👎
If former Dr Fauci thinks traveling for Thanksgiving is dangerous, he should stay home.

I wonder how many Christians Nero praised for their doing of good? After all, he was not a terror to their good works, but to the evil.

This was not only an unpopular move with Democrats, but also very unpopular Republicans as well ❗👎

Apparently some have forgotten that it's the States that have the responsibility for overseeing the elections in their States.

On a side note, when we had purely mechanical voting machines in my area, there was no need for recounts. No questions of what is the machine reading. Flip individual small levers down for your votes, when you pull the large lever, lo and behold all the small levers go back up, the curtain opens, and the voting is complete and counted. Too old fashioned I guess.

Biden has been acting quite sensible, it'll be a refreshing change from what's happening in the White House now,Mike.👎
There’s nothing refreshing about moving backwards to the old out of date, anti-freedom leftism that spends its time suffocating people, Jim.

Ps Neither Biden nor the Democrats want unity. They have spent 4 years fighting against it. What they want is compliance with their agenda. For them, that’s unity.

LA County Dept of Health clears Grace Community of the outbreak. No doubt helped by the fact that 3 out of 7000 hardly constitutes an outbreak. But then the probe wasn’t about health, was it?

Second term? Can you say 25th Amendment? You actually think the left wingnuts who used figurehead Biden, who can barely string a sentence together, are going to leave him in office? He’s a means, not an end. There won’t be a second term. Might not be a first, for that matter.

It is somewhat foolish, to think one cure fits all churches
Not only that, but it’s foolish for someone to think that 7289 cases of Covid somehow associated with religious gatherings on the same day as the CDC said there were 8680611 total cases has any public health meaning. 0.084% of the total just isn’t scary enough. Poor old Throckmorton maybe could use some remedial math courses?

Probably not. A virus that kills less than 1%, and mostly old people, just doesn't exactly seem like a God given punishment, does it?

From the news:

"CNN "State of the Union" host Jake Tapper suggested during a Sunday interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci that Christmas is "probably not gonna be possible" this year as medical experts warn of COVID-19 spikes caused by widespread indoor holiday gatherings."

CNN? The spike allegedly presently occurring has not been caused by said widespread indoor indoor holiday gatherings. So why are CNN and alleged medical expert former Dr. Fauci concerned about gatherings yet to come?

“I would recommend to people not to abandon all public health measures just because you’ve been vaccinated," Fauci said. "Because even though for the general population it might be 90 to 95 percent effective, you don’t necessarily know for you how effective it is."

See where it's going? Even if 90-95% effective, hey, maybe not for you. You are at risk of living your life. Be afraid, wear your mask. Forever.

How should a Christian view the separation of church and state? Easy question. View it like Jefferson who coined the wall of separation phrase. Read his letter to the Baptists. Government stay out of church matters. See how easy when facts trump agendas, Jim?

I have some fine brothers here, but I seldom use the term because of something noticed over the years. It seems to be used here primarily when a brother agrees with you about something discussed. I don’t expect my brothers in the Lord to always agree with me, nor will I always agree with them. But I will hold them as brothers anyway. We're brothers because of Jesus Christ, not because of side issues, of which most threads should be categorized. But if agreement about Trump or covid or Canada or America makes us brothers, and disagreement makes it too hard to say, then for me the term brother has lost something valuable. There is enough to be sad about. We should remember the narrow road is a bumpy one.

It might be beneficial if those with complaint, real or not so real, would be more specific. When one uses terms like “Americans are.. “ Americans do...” Americans think...” then one has gone into the misty world of generalization. Name the Americans of whom there is complaint. Are we all in lockstep? No, unless one is blind it is easily seen that we are anything but. Granted it is easier to generalize. But it’s lazy thinking.

Well if the New York Times says so, it must be true. I wonder if they called “officials” in every State when Al Gore was questioning the count after the Bush-Gore election? Nah, Gore is a Democrat. Different rules, right Jim?

I’d like to see that in Mr Biden, should be become president. We’ve seen too many times how difficult it is for him to put a coherent sentence together, often babbling things that don’t even sound like real words. Makes you wonder what they have put him on at those times when, amazingly, he sounds sharp.
