Wayne M, The point was euthanasia. My father was not a candidate because of his age, regardless of the supply. An oppressive gov. will in effect set itself up as a type of temporal God. All human life is sacred and no man has the right to decide which life is of more value, as the social elitists would like to do. Organ donor transplants, ethically should be placed on a "first come/first served" basis. In Scripture, the elders of a society have as much to contribute as any other member. Actually, their experientially and God- given wisdom is priceless and should be much sought after. In fact the young are in desperate NEED of them. Wherever the elders are lacking you will find all kind of rebellion. There is no excuse to have any gov. control medical care. One of the reasons I stayed at my job, though physically demanding, is because I had started a family and the benefits were good. Incentives drive business production and are one of the many positive features of private enterprise. Everyone is not guaranteed everything. Christian church? Indeed, there are many here in the U.S.A. who run private clinics, sacrificing to help the poor. Personally, my dentist had given a large part of a couple of past summers to donate time to help those in need. |

Wayne M,Believe me, the propaganda that we receive here is an onslaught from the "big spending" left. Plain and simple, gov. seeks control. Advertise: no euthanasia, no rationing while the Amer. Socialists have gradually been implementing socialism so they deceptively say: "we already have rationing...". One personal "leading example" is my father who died a few years ago. He unexpectedly had a heart attack(our days are numbered...nevertheless)great shape, walked 3-5 miles military speed, daily, rain or shine. When they took his heart out and pumped blood by machine they said he was NOT A CANDIDATE for a transplant because of his AGE! You talk about costs, I wonder what your tax rates are and how about your major medical and the particulars? How about those famous waiting lines? Just wondering, how long you have been a Can. citizen? Our system is not perfect, was the best and is still the best(even though we now go to the Drs. instead of them coming to our homes). People from around the world(including Can.)come here for quality care not vice-versa. |

Wayne M,You pay less. You get less. You have no choice. You have no voice. Thankfully, the populace is peacefully protesting throughout the U.S. irregardless of party affiliation. There is and has been total disregard for our Constitution by our lawmakers and judicial fiat. With a single-payer. Need many a Bayer. Government becoming gayer. Adding layer upon layer. Tea protests by tax-payer. Success as a delayer. To every naysayer. You will be a player. Healthscare doesn't need amended. Its start should be where it ended. The issue is not about the poor. But about GOVERNMENT THE MORE!!! |

Job Description, New York,Jennifer's faith in God got bad??? You cannot lose something you never had! This hairdryer marked reason. Blowing smoke where it aint freezin. De-baptize. The father of lies. Does thou hear Anton's cries? Look not up at the skies. A "sinner" sees himself in need. "Look": HE who did vicarious bleed. If baptism was only by water. Reservation is getting hotter. No hell . . . a superstition. Hell bent, unreasonable position. ETERNITY for all - God has made aware. One sure thing - "YOU" will be there!!! When you were baptized as a child. Ceremony left unchanged, a heart wild. Atheist, did you ever ponder. The roll that counts, is up yonder. Inconsequential; debaptize or rebaptize. FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST,nothing else flys! JOHN Chapter 3 |

GG,Ah, once again, a devious plan. You spout about the cults same points though they have been discredited many times. Simply go back and review ALL of the papal forums. If you like we can rehash this trash. As for now: Human conventions. Human inventions. Roman cult on sandy ground. In Scriptures never found. Catholic, in the early church. Meant universal of new birth. NO Popes or relics in first centuries. Despite longing, impassioned pleas. fyi, the N.T. nowhere mentions the Roman Catholic false church by name as a matter of fact the N.T. does not even state that believers became "members" of or joined churches though they of course gathered together and we should not forsake this. Once saved we are "joined" to the Lord. "But he that is "joined" unto the Lord is one spirit." Acts 6:17 |

CoramDeo,Good evening! No need to degrade. Since thou did evade. N.T. baptism, no longer in the shade. Household baptisms - have you surveyed? Presuppositions, some are swayed. Similar to Rome, then trench & stockade. Biblical doctrine, have you prayed? Your N.T. examples, do not persuade. Seeking an infant baptism crusade. The Bible - have you betrayed? The gospel can never be remade. Go and preach, not something homemade. Taxed by your evasion. Ah-Discontinuity is now in your equation Once again: 1. According to your Acts 16, jailer household baptism - are INFANTS able to believe? 2. Are you aware that believers baptism has always existed from the earliest times in church history and not just beginning with the Anabaptists during the reformation? |

CoramDeo,As far as interpretive gymnastics there is a hugejump involving all the false assumptions and presuppositions in household baptisms. Jailer passage: ACTS 16:32 "...he spoke the Word of the Lord..." ACTS 16:34 "...rejoiced greatly, having BELIEVED in God with his WHOLE HOUSEHOLD." The BIBLICAL pattern is that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Now, Acts 16 conforms to this "Biblical pattern". INFANTS certainly were not baptized because they are INCAPABLE of believing. Concerning credobaptism historically, you again are in error. The teaching of the twelve apostles in the first century, The Didache(actually a manual of Christian baptism)shows that in the beginning that believer's baptism was not only cited but preferred. The order was of major importance (pouring of warm water was acceptable if no running cold water could be found - common sense here). So, not only was immersion preferred but INFANTS WERE NOT BAPTIZED because the one to be baptized had to fast for two days beforehand. Once again, INFANTS could not prepare their thoughts beforehand through fasting for two days. Also, can you imagine keeping food from a newborn. He becomes hysterical simply because of need for food about |

CoramDeo,Greetings! The so-called truths that you are speaking to John UK may be falsehoods! Your supposed N.T. textual evidence later. Concerning, Matt.28:19,20, please go to: ftp://ftp.joegriffin.org/classnotes/sbc05/SBC05-01.pdf ps. Note that Baptists truly fulfill the great commission. pss.Since the Lord saved my soul I have visited many Bible-believing churches. Like John Bunyan, who went to a church that had members of both Credo and Paedobaptist, I have no problem in fellowshipping with other believers in Christ. As a matter of fact, the sermon of an older, spirit-filled, serious (no fillers, jokes or need for laughter)Presby. preacher, had me leave in tears, full of convic- tion and utter awe of God. The Lord has graciously shown me that there are God-fearing believers and pastors who love the Lord in Baptist Presbyterian and Fundamental Churches. Have a "grace day"! |
