Good morning Bro Frank.

Yea and amen, it is surely as you say. And the day is getting nearer. Social media will have its own 'lockdown' concerning the militant religions, lest their HQ's and staff get bombed or attacked, and SA will surely have big decisions to make, as all men do not have faith.

Some cults thrive on persecution, so the wheat may yet have some tares to deal with, but generally the fallen away churches will, in a most wonderful way, gradually disappear, like bonfire smoke rising into the atmosphere and is gone.

Individuals will respond according their faith. Some will have plenty of oil for their lamps, as wise virgins; and others, like foolish virgins, will be running out of oil for lack of diligence, according to the teaching of Jesus.

Now is the time to enjoy the provision of God through SA, and listen to some of the great sermons from classic preachers of the past, along with contemporary preachers of the Reformed faith.

I wonder if SA will be forced one day to censure any posts which speak negatively about the religion of Islam out of concern for reprisals like this.

They should know better. But as I said before, the English are a rebellious lot, a warmongering race.

Can't stop......later.

I love that balloon ministry. Most inventive.

It's all part of the Great Commission.

Yes brother, on one side of the coin we have antinomianism and on the other legalism. One side preaches an incorrect grace and the other side preaches an incorrect obedience to God. And let me add that both of these sides dummy down the gospel of Christ. Even on a forum like this we can clearly see this.
Fellow blood-washed and righteousness-imputed saint of the Most High God, yes indeed! I read through your post several times, as it is most important in the last days. There is such a thing as a gospel which is no gospel.

Justification is by faith alone, clearly.

Galatians 2:16 KJV
(16)  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

A legalist will not accept that.

Galatians 2:17 KJV
(17)  But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

An antinomian will not accept that.

Those who are truly justified will be made holy by the grace of God. This is basic teaching.

“If one makes no use of intelligence or medicine when he could do so without detriment to his neighbor, such a person injures his body and must beware lest he become a suicide in God’s eyes. By the same reasoning a person might forego eating and drinking, clothing and shelter, and boldly proclaim his faith that if God wanted to preserve him from starvation and cold, he could do so without food and clothing. Actually that would be suicide. It is even more shameful for a person to pay no heed to his own body and to fail to protect it against the plague the best he is able, and then to infect and poison others who might have remained alive if he had taken care of his body as he should have. He is thus responsible before God for his neighbor’s death and is a murderer many times over. Indeed, such people behave as though a house were burning in the city and nobody were trying to put the fire out. Instead they give leeway to the flames so that the whole city is consumed, saying that if God so willed, he could save the city without water to quench the fire.
No, my dear friends, that is no good. Use medicine; take potions which can help you” (M.Luther) (Whether One May Flee from the Plague)
Thanks Adriel, most helpful.

I shall be celebrating Christmas in the usual way, no matter what the authorities say. It is a happy time of the year, and I am very happy to be thinking about the great incarnation of the great Spirit. It fills me with joy and rejoicing that he came into the world to save me specifically, dying for my sins as one of his sheep, that he might clothe me with his righteousness, and all by grace. Yes, he is a wonderful Saviour, and I would that all might know him, and have the peace that I have in my heart, and the joy unspeakable and full of glory that attends me every day.

Oh happy day that fixed my choice
On thee my Saviour and my God

Recently, when I was unable to swallow without immense pain, I went along to my doctor. She booked me in with the Accident & Emergency at a local hospital and wrote a covering letter. The doctor there spoke to me and examined me and prescribed a whole load of medicinals. I visited the pharmacy within the hospital and waited while they made up the prescription (it took over half an hour). My landlord, who had driven me over to the hospital, had waited for me, and he drove me home, for which I thanked him profusely.

The course of medicine lasted ten days and I had to take the lot. After seven days I knew it was working, and at last was able to eat and drink once again.

I for one am thankful for the medical profession. And I quite expect that even in the days when Jesus was ministering and healing people, there were physicians (like Luke) who helped others out of concern and care.

Ooooh, look. Another survey. Now isn't that so interesting. I could cry with joy. It will be a sad day when surveys have to cease. Whatever will we do without them?

What I would like to read up on is why the IFB churches have split apart, and now we have the New IFB denomination, which has already split asunder because of disagreements with the man leading the charge. They think he is being too forceful and demanding.

And then they accuse ME of being divisive. Hypocrite.

I agree completely with you brother. Any church that allows homosexuals or LGBT supporters to join their church really isn't a Christian church.
Now antinomians might accept them as long as they also say they are saved by grace.
Good morning pilgrim. I'd never really thought about it, but it must be true. This is how the latter day churches will end up falling away, by watering down God's message to the world, and thereby preaching a false simplistic gospel with no commitment, no genuine God-given repentance, no turning away from sin, merely a 'join the club' scenario and have a great time, with BBQ's, superbowl church, get rich quick, and all that sort of nonsense. The falling away church must never think for one minute about self-sacrifice, or the great commission, or loving people. It must exist for its members and look after its members and keep its members happy. Be an all inclusive society. Don't talk about sin. Ignore the epistles of John. Ignore God's command to be holy as he is holy. Just do your own thing.

Yes, antinomianism is more rampant than I thought. And they need to study up on what God thought of 'sin in the camp' in the OT, and then read Acts 5.

People generally believe that they can do what they wish to do. But they leave God out of the equation. What I'm saying is that nobody can do what they wish to do, without the sovereign Lord permitting or ordaining it.

A walk out in these circumstances would be the best thing to happen in the CoE. Unfortunately, these lily-livered Anglican prelates will cave in and continue to support every demand of the sodomites, and knock another nail in the church's coffin.

Hi Michael, and thank you for your post.

You know I'm not so hot on the OT, however, the answer to your first question is "yes" and the answer to your second question, well, you'll have to furnish that yourself and give me the reference. Thanks. But if I might ask you bro.

If I came to your door, slobbering and feigning madness, as naked as the day I was born, and uttering prophecies, what would you think about that sort of behaviour? For instance, would you have me join with you outside the clinic to witness to young pregnant girls?
