A female soldier complained about another soldier, a male, watching her when she showered, following her when she jogged, etc. She filed sexual harassment on him and the next thing she knows he's bashing her head in with a hammer, chopping her body into pieces, and burying her remains. Graphic. Horrible. True story. I dare say more of these cases will happen if men and women remain in the army together, in the same bunks together, etc. There's a reason divorce rates are high in the army....
Texas Governor mandated it for Texans. Fortunately, his bill was full of loopholes. Fortunately, again, most Texans are tired of it all and are disobeying. Even more fortunate, a ton of sheriffs have stated that they nor their deputies will be enforcing it.
I've no desire to fuel the debate so last word is y'alls. Observation has shown where you both stand.
Anyone who disagrees or questions John UK is lost and hell bound. Frank is a mediator and is trying to keep the peace.
For my characters sake, my husband is the leader of my home. Neither of you twos opinion matters. I do stay home and raise my children. I am within my biblical rights as we are not in church or an army or politics. I am done here.
So posting on a public forum is now feminsist and Christian women are forbidden? You both ignorantly paint with a broad brush and assume the women on here are in rebellion against their God given roles. I'm even the more glad that my salavation lies with Jesus and not men, for man makes a huge unscriptural list that is a burden. Christ is not burdensome.
Arizona Native, celebrating Independce while under lockdown. Interesting times. So, are people dropping like flies? Fear mongering is strong in my part of Texas. The cases are on the rise, so they say, yet only 1 death has been recorded and that was a 93year old woman. I feel for her family but this is not the boogeyman we were told. 1 out of 50k is hardly the reason to shut down an area.
Wayfarer, I respectfully disagree. The hospitals in my area of Texas are not overrun. Millennials aren't the only bar visitors. You're not likely to catch it at a bar anymore than you are at a grocery store. Open Texas up. People will catch it as they go out, naturally so. Case numbers will naturally rise (don't forget those numbers include ALL cases meaning a lot of those are recovered and old) but the death count hasn't and won't increase.
None of those 400 are or have ever been slaves therefore they don't qualify for reparations. Some sleazy politician could always right up a bill to shut them up but it word so that no one alive qualifies. But it'd be best to not even do that. Let them whine about a lack of brownies while they're hand is in the cookie jar. Childish.
I had a relative die during all this. She was in a nursing home and kept getting transferred to the hospital. The hospital would send her back because she didn't have covid19 and wasn't priority at the time. Covid killed her via medical neglect. But, yes, let's keep insisting for lockdown and obedience to government without considering any ill effects whatsoever.
Yes, because prohibition worked well. Give them an inch and they take a mile.. That's how you go from one extreme of banning this to the other extreme of banning that. Again, unbiblical power and authority.
I don't see where it's the biblical duty of government to control what a person chooses to indulge in. Legalize it as it should have never been illegal to start with. If a crime is committed than go after the perpetrator. The war on drug is a losing battle that causes prisons to be overwhelmed. *I don't smoke it nor endorse smoking it. Just saying, the government isn't our parent and shouldn't treat us as children. We went from making weed illegal to making raw milk illegal.
Mike wrote: Florida? It's up to the people of Florida to decide how safe they should be. JohnUK reply: Brother, considering that the majority of people in Florida are unregenerate, you've got the same problem as before. How can you expect them to make a sensible decision?
A lack of salvation does not equate to a low IQ. What a horrible and prejudice way to operate. Florida is capable of coming to a sensible decision and if not, it's still their choice. Christians aren't to be authoritarians controlling everybody's life and everyday choices. Unbiblical.
Me thinks you need some 1776 flowing through your veins. Some freedom thinking. Some libertarian food.
Just a quick note, when you see the case count go up from 3000 to 6000 you need to view those numbers under the guise that not all 6000 are sick at the same time. The numbers go up but they don't ever take any away once they've healed. So out of 6000 you could only have 2000 sick with 4000 having gotten better. There's no way to know for certain how many are sick at a given time. The current set up operates on your fear.
CDC has stated that if Covid19 is the suspect of death then you can mark the death as such without testing for verification. The numbers are skewed. That's fact, not conspiracy.
