What does one do when he is gay against is will? I believe there are alot more men who are gay but won't come out and say it! I still believe that men should abstain from sex with each other even though they cannot help being gay!

I feel bad that most of what was said here in the last few hours had hardly any, if not at all "Biblical backup". Folks, we should use Scripture and don't forget to compare Scripture with Scripture" before stating opinions, etc. There is enough confusion on these matters as it is, let alone read more confusion, error here in these rooms. We need to read the Bible and THEN give our opinions!!!!!!!

Your short and somewhat powerful statement leaves me somewhat bewildered. Inadvertantly the guns made years ago were subsidized by states apropo to the relevant situation. Do you have any further comment re: issueance of licenses and firearms in the future? ty for a good eyeopener!!

Wayne, Thank you very much for your sharing and brotherly concern. I believe you know what it means to "bear one anothers burdens, etc.". I can kinda tell it by what you've shared so far. I will look up that book you said I could download. In the days in which we live, it is a real blessing from the Lord, I believe, that people who we never met or knew before, will try to help us in our struggles. May our Lord receive all the honor and glory!!!!!!

Thank you, Christian, from Switzerland for sharing your own experience. I feel, in every way, the way that you do. I could not have said it as good as you did. I pray to God for a hatred for this sin every day. It's hard to pray against something you really like. Regardless of all the talk these days from both Christians and non-Christians alike, I STILL KNOW that HOMOSEXUALITY is a SIN. I don't know you and you don't know me, however, let us pray for one another, okay? Thank you to the others who are giving good input to this forum. The "world" has their own support groups. Shouldn't the church have support groups also? I cannot talk to unbelievers about this because they don't look at this as sin. I, by God's grace, only, KNOW what the Bible says. No excuse though, I still have a terrible old nature. I don't know many times though, if I even have a new nature because of how I entertain these sinful thoughts. Sometimes I fight them and other times I just enjoy the thoughts. Do you see why I have doubts whether I'm truly saved, or not. I really appreciate the sharing in this forum!!! May God bless us all becasue we all need Him everyday!

Thanks alot, Bravo, Wayne, and Fellow Saint for your Biblical guidance and concern for myself. Isn't it wonderful that by way of "sermon audio forum" I can get this help that I need so much. It's never a chore for true children of God to help one another and bear one anothers burdens, isn't it? I so often have doubts that I'm truly saved because of these sins and sinful thoughts. Thanks much again and may you all have a blessed Lord's Day!

I'm wondering if a born-again person can still struggle with homosexuality and be saved at the same time. Everyday I think about and entertain homosexual thoughts and pleasures. Can anyone who knows the Bible help me on this? I also think there are quite a few men even in the churches who struggle with this same problem, but just don't speak up. What do you think??

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I know homosexuality is a sin, no doubt about it. I have struggled with this sin myself and try to fight it because I know the Bible says no fornicator [homosexual] can enter Heaven. Many other portions of the Bible are very clear that God hates this sin. Romans 1, etc. I pray God for hatred for this sin however at times I have attraction for handsome men. I don't act on it anymore though. I don't condone it at all !!!!!!!!!!!!

It is obvious that your principles of interpretating Scripture is according to your own ideas. Galations 3:28 is talking about salvation, and has nothing to do with leadership in the church. Scripture is clear in many areas that church leadership is for the men. All these decisions of church denominations to put women in official leadership shows how far we have strayed from Scripture and the principles of Biblical interpretation.
