The modern day liars of tongues didn't have any grounding in scripture, rather in the proven lies at azuza st.

Not to mention, Paul says, don't forbid tongues, that was said while we had an open canon of scripture, so there was still much work to be done, more prophesying. So God could be witness, why don't these liars drink poison? Let snakes bite them?

Notice what we will all receive is singular, not plural.

Do you guys know what tongues were?
A known earthly language.
Show me one single scripture that has anyone or angel or Jesus talking in a language not used on earth.
Paul says,
" If I speak in tongues of men or angels"
Check out the original koine " if" used.
Paul was point blank saying, even if I could, if I were able.
Please those who have little understanding in these topics should not be giving advice.
